I looked at the fonts in the posts showing size differences, and they looked the  same on my computer whether I'm logged in or out.

Even if there were a difference, wouldn't it be more important how they looked when logged in?  If you're logged out, you can't reply anyway.

This is Lucida Sans Unicode in size 2.

And yes, I use reading glasses while on the computer.
