Why does the hostess sit in one spot not even relaxed looking......why don't they ever show you the side of the bed she's sitting on. I realize it would be sagging. But if you want someone to spend $800 it would be wiser to not look like you are hiding something!!!!!

I have seen Hosts sitting on the sides of the beds...the front of the beds....and even laying down on the beds...maybe not all of them do it....as I don't watch every presentation....but I have seen it...I don't know what more they can do ...

As to who buys a bed off t.v.....I did...and still have it...one of the best purchases I have made from QVC...

I needed a new mattress a couple of years ago, bought a Serta based on presentations from QVC. . After approx. 3 months I hated it.  Sagged on both sides and bump in the middle.  When I made the bed in the morning, the middle hump was still visible.  I ended up sleeping in my guest room much of the time.  We recently bought a new one and so far so good.  6 months later and I haven't left my bed for the guest room.  I will never make that mistake again.

Personally, I don't think the host should be on the bed in any way shape or form......if they want to demonstrate anything, use a model.

Why would you not have contacted Serta or QVC about this problem?  Those beds come with a warranty.  Any bed does.

LIpstick Diva: QVC only has a 30-day return. Serta give warranties for many years - but from what I've read ---- they NEVER honor their warranties. Over a year ago, I needed to buy 3 mattresses and spent hours and hours googling "mattresses". Serta, Sealy, Spring Air got the worst reviews. The original companies sold the businesses to hedge funds and investors --- need I say more?

I went to a local mattress store 10 minutes from my house and purchased 3 Englander full mattress sets, approx. $400 each. Free bed frames, no tax, free delivery and setup. I knew if I had any problems, they would pick up the mattresses immediately. No calling on the phone, no getting the run-around, not being ignored!!!!

I purchased my queen size mattress from this mattress store almost 15 years ago --- and it's very comfortable and perfect.

What's different today -- including the Serta mattresses shown on the Q - is they fill the mattresses with FOAM. That's why they're so deep. After a while, the foam settles down and there's a deep indentation in the center of the mattress, where the people fall in. Thousands of complaints about this problem - which falls on deaf ears.

Google Serta mattress complaints.

I find that the "warranties" on most products are so full of exclusions and requirements for them to be honored that they are not worth the paper they are on.  It is buyer beware and if you are told  a product has a warranty you better look at the warranty before you buy the product so you know how useless it is.  I recently considered buying new carpeting and was interested in the Stainmaster Pet Protect carpeting because of my cats.  They brag about their warranty so I read it.  More holes than Swiss cheese.  You have to have proof that you have had your carpet cleaned professionally every 18 months or they will not honor a claim.  Funny how the salesperson failed to mention that little detail.

I am referring to them sitting on the side of the bed in the exact same position. Not moving. And the camera never going toward that side. The hostess looks posed so the bed doesn't move or show sag. The camera not going that way shows you they don't want you to notice something.

And I agree why do they sit on the bed? Use a model in pajamas or something calming.
