Try google . States he has one sister who prefers to remain publicly anonymous. He also has a brother. Megan was an only child.

I think it's not an uncommon surname. How does someone find out the name of someone else's great great grandmother???

The surname Venable is not considered very common, but the last census lists at least 10,000 + people with the last name of Venable in the US. It may be encountered more in the South. Yeah, I actually checked.

@PA Mom-mom Years ago, I came across the last name Venable in relation to research involving Stone Mountain's history. Stone Mountain is located near Atlanta, Georgia and the Venable brothers who owned rock quarries purchased it in the late 1800s.

A book called A Fever in the Heartland by Timothy Egan led me to the Venable name encounter. Love going down historical rabbit holes and ancestry data myself. Keeps my mind active. Cheers!
