Why does David always watch the camera of himself instead of paying attention to 

the other people and the product. He waits to take a bite of anything until the

camera is only on him.

I would think he does it to get the point across that the food product is delicious.  If the viewers see him enjoying the food so much, it must be good.

My explanation sounds reasonable to me, but only David's knows for sure.  He's a salesman trying to get you to buy a product.

He needs to talk and look at us he likes to look at himself must be admiring the weight he's put back on

He is always looking at the monitor at himself, so annyoing. He almost never looks right into the camera at his audience.

I'm guessing he's looking to see what camera view is being shown on air at any given time.
