What ever happened to those great candle and home decor collections that Valerie Parr Hill used to bring us.  I loved them and still have some of the decor items from those kits. They were from years and years ago, so I suppose there might be an issue of them being cost effective.  However, I would still like to see them return.

@Dogtrainer1   Have no idea what "kits" you're talking about but I see plenty of home decor items every time she is on.  I think people get tired of a lot of her thing so they dream up new selections.

@Dogtrainer1,

I think I know which ones you are talking about. They came with these cute containers, an apple or pear with about 5 pieces or more and about 5 different candles?

I got the apple one once. The biggest piece was rather large. I enjoyed it. It was fun and the candles did smell good.

Maybe you are right that it would be too expensive to make now. That or people just run out of room and/or don't want to keep adding so many large things they need to store later.

I'd rather Valerie show more candles though than all those illuminated spheres and mercury glass and votive holders with decorations. I feel like there are only 1 or 2 things in her shows now that seem really new. Lots of similar things.

I so agree with you. I too would like to see more candles and not so many huge spheres, hurricanes, etc. that I don't have room for.

Yes I miss her candles that came with plates and shades. Some complained about the quality of the candles but I thought they were fine. I have a set with pumpkins and one with apples. They fit the large Yankee candles. Would love to see them back.
