Background music on Q2

Please don’t do the HSN-like background music (currently on ITKWM at 10;15 am MDT). I stopped watching HSN because the music is cheesy, distracting and makes it hard to hear the talking.

I must be totally "unobservant". I've never noticed background music during presentations on HSN. I'll have to pay more attention.

I hate that too!

It seems to be the new thing for news channels too when reporting on the traffic and other things. Its is so nerve-wracking and you can't really hear the words over the music! Also in ads.

So dumb!

I guess they think it's hip and creates excitement-no it makes for turning the channel asap!

I dont like it either, its loud and terrible noise, I dont consider it music.

We went to a high school baseball game recently to meet up with friends and watch their son play. In between plays they played extremely loud music. Our friends say that is the norm now. They also said that at one ball game the music was so annoying that the umpire ask the people to stop playing the music because the players could not hear each other or their coaches.
