The 3 little dots for me here are for just these options:
Mark as new, highlight, print, email to a friend or report inappropriate content...nothing for editing!

Those are the options I get when I click on the dots next to anyone else's post. Hmmm. 2 thoughts:
1) did you try editing this reply? It might be that, like on the old board, you can't edit an OP or can't edit it after there are already replies...
2) did you verify your email address by clicking through the link that was sent to you this morning when you logged in to the new forum? I wonder if the edit option is something they only let you do after that? Dunno.

They should be just to the right of your post/reply title, in the upper-right corner of the reply box?

They are directly to the right of the post title. Three ellipses dots. Click those for more menu options, including edit and delete.

They are directly to the right of the post title, maybe an inch over. Three ellipses dots. Click those for more menu options, including edit and delete. You can even edit an original post now, which we couldn't do before. They didn't take anything away and they gave you more options you did not have before.

In addition to the list I posted above of what the 3 gray dots allow me to do (Mark as new, highlight, print, email to a friend or report inappropriate content), "revoke hearts" was added...*scratches my head"...who would want to revoke a heart?
And still no edit button...My head hurts!
I tried to edit the reply...no go, and yes I verified my e-mail. As for not being able to edit after someone posts afterward of a new thread post, etc, I couldn't add to my new thread nobody had posted to yet, so wound up having to add a reply to my own thread *rolls eyes*
Need a coffee break...lol

This, I think you need to verify your email through the link sent to whatever email you used when you first logged in to the new configuration.
The edit button is there.
I think everyone needs to just spend couple of minutes clicking the buttons to see what they do and work through the changes.
