Re: Amazing! Incredible! Enough!

@Susan in California, thank you for your reasoned response. No one should be opposed to differing opinions. We're all different people with different forms and different clothing preferences.

Posts/posters that are offensive are those who call the clothing choices of other women "schmatta." No need to stoop to that level. Equally offensive are the posts that are so derisive of those who shared their images on FB. (Which is one of the reasons I never post anything on FB.) No one deserves such disrespect.

WADR, I'm not sure who elected you the arbiter of decorum on this forum.

Your posts seem to be dictums, rather than opinions.

I'm sorry if I'm incorrectly interpreting them.  We're adults here;  not children in want or need of your rules.

I tried to state my views of the posts that bothered me as my opinion,  hence " I find", not as directives to others.

Sorry. That last post was directed at MaggieMack.  Never having posted here before, didn't find where to quote someone.

I'm also in NYC&never see Logo on anyone! I also spend some time in Miami, never see Logo there either! I do not care for the look at all,it just looks sloppy to me! Layers hanging out of clothes, not attractive! Logo is not trendy or classy. The clothes are so unappealing! Who is wearing this look?

Re: Amazing! Incredible! Enough!

Is really the point that we haven't seen anyone where we live wearing LOGO?

Who cares about that?!

What a classist comment about the "shoppers of Walmart.."
I find myself annoyed by "what's in"...who cares?

I just purchased some rain boots (not from the Q) I have never, ever seen on anyone.  I don't care; I love them.  One of the reviewers said she returned them because she is a grandmother, and she felt they were more suited for a younger woman.  Well, I'm a grandmother, and I love them.  So what??!!

I am not a fan; I think it is not flattering, average quality and overpriced.

But what difference does that make to anyone?  Nothing I hope.

I never thought I would be defending Logo, but the calling people in a round about way, low class, is pretty disgusting.  And in no way did I feel Maggie Mack was trying to be the Opinion Police.

ThanksHeart, @MaggieMack and @ECBG, and those who gave hearts to the copy of part of my post from Community Chat.   The context of my complete post was a discussion about threads or posts being removed and possible reasons, theories about posting styles, that sort of thing.

(Original thread is "~~ For Goodness Sakes, Friends ~~" for those who'd like to join the conversation or see all the comments.)

I don't feel @MaggieMack or anyone else is attempting to dictate behavior or police the posts.  Really, it's just a gentle commentary on the way our words sometimes are perceived -- sometimes in unintended ways -- and it's merely some observations rather than directives.

As I said in another post on that thread, I always welcome and enjoy all viewpoints, because I like to learn...  and I don't usually learn anything new by surrounding myself only with those who agree with me.Smiley

I think it's great to see so many opinions.  There's such a wide variety of perspectives on any given topic.  Even when I start out thinking I have a firm opinion, sometimes the lively, bright, articulate posters here cause me to have a change of heart and mind.

I get the biggest kick out of the constant I-live-in-XYZ-and-I-never-see-anyone-wearing-XYZ-clothes posts! As if that makes them feel superior to everyone else. Entertaining for sure.

@Iluvhandbags  Wouldn't it be interesting if while Logo was on QVC could show the general area where the orders/customers lived!  Like a hot zone or out break map! I believe we are often hear from one person with multiple screen names because they share so much in common. I agree with you very entertaining.   We Logo customers come in peace and mean no harm.😊 I live in sunny Florida and don't layer Logo.
