I saw the blush color in a Prada bag a couple of weekends ago at the Prada store and it was really nice. You might check it out.

I posted this on another thread. But I got the Cream Snake and Natural Ostrich. The Snake was my first choice but then also got the Natural last minute. When they arrived I wasn't as wowed by the Snake once I saw it in person. Been testing it out. I like it but I think it's going back. I'll give the Natural a whirl and see how I feel about it. The Natural is beautiful in person. While carrying the Snake on my shoulder the outer strap wouldn't stay up on my shoulder. I haven't attempted to use the longer strap. I love big bags. So the size isn't an issue for me. It is heavy to begin with and once you load it up forget about it. Then I noticed some potential issues around the shoulder straps for the Snake. But I could just be over stressing since ladies had issues with the handles cracking in the previous version. Guess I'll stick with Dooney.

A lot of the people posting rave reviews, about any of the products, on these forums are shills of different sorts, I believe. Sometimes they are imagining that they have a "special" relationship with a host, making them jump on the frenzy bandwagon. Other times ... they may be actual shills. Not all, mind you, but many of the more vocal ones.

I purchased the first GILI II in the aubergine because it was one of the few colors left. I was so disappointed. There was nothing special about the bag. It looked so ordinary without the studio lights on it. I think this generation of the bags are prettier because of the textures, but I'm not ordering. I almost did. I had several on check status and canceled them yesterday. The hype was getting to me. I know that the bag wouldn't work for me and there are so many beautiful bags out there. I just ordered Isaac's tote that has eyelet cutouts in the leather. I purchased it in white. I also ordered the new pink sand hobo by B. Makowsky. I don't think my own personal lifestyle warrants a bag as big and heavy as the GILI.
I'm just saying that there are tons of gorgeous bags out there and I wouldn't keep a flawed bag. For everyone who got it and loved it, I'm happy. It's just not for me and I'm glad I realized it.

I feel so bad that your Roma II has so many flaws!! For what it cost, I would'nt put up with that! Where is the Quality Control at QVC? I have gotten several damaged items. I had to send a $500 Dooney back 3 times because of the black streaks on it and the terrible scratches. I guess maybe just look at your bag. Are the damages REALLY noticeable? If they are, I would send it back! Keep in mind, some ladies may not keep their bags and you can maybe get a replacement? That's a shame!!! I know how you feel though!

Last night I ordered the new Oryany Joyce Hobo (A254122) in blush. It is also big but the Oryany leather is soft and high quality..
I have 3 OrYany's and I LOVE them!!!!!! They're wonderful, beautiful bags!!!!

My black and blush arrived. I'm keeping the blush although I think it's more of a dusty rose. Like it a lot. The black is going back because the tassel is a mess. Not sewn properly, pieces stuck together and doesn't lay straight. Thought about just returning but decided to do an exchange because I'm a black bagoholic

It's good that there is such a range of bags out there and certainly not just limited to Q brands. Personally, I love my new Gili and was fortunate to receive one without flaws. It'll work for me, but certainly not as an exclusive bag and I doubt most of us posting on this forum use only one handbag... I believe it will be another great option when I'm looking to use a much larger bag.
Sad to say, in today's world, whenever volume is concerned quality is typically going to be an issue, and there are going to be flawed bags. What's important to me is to note the relative frequency, and this is why I will not buy a BMak bag nor will I now buy Tig bags. There have simply been too many concerns posted on these boards about their construction and that seems to be reflected by the large number of BMak bags found in the 'as-is' bin. I've received Dooney bags with flaws, but very infrequently, and I own several Issac bags, all of which were received in good condition. I also own several oryany bags, not purchased here, but have yet to decide on whether or not I truly like this brand, as I haven't used the bags much. In addition, there are scads of bags and other brands available both here and out in the marketplace... Something for everyone, it seems...
