@roxxy1 $59.90 I read the reviews of a handful that preordered and two said the straps were too open and wouldn't stay on. That and the plastic footbed, I'm going to pass.

Besides the plastic footbed issue which I've previously said was a no-no for me - My first two pair of Vionics were Tides. I was slippin' and slidin' all over the place and couldn't understand why (other than the obvious plastic thing) because they were "my size" - and all my subsequent sneakers from them were that size and fit perfectly. Once, in a Marshalls, I happened upon a cache of Vionic thong-types, and discovered my real fit in those is a full size down. They still were long enough, but they weren't "loose" anywhere. I have since also figured out that in their slip-ons, I wear the half size in between the flip-flops and the sneakers. Just for peoples' info who are thinking about Vionics.

I live on the beach and wear only Vionics. However, our sand is too deep to wear shoes of any kind. It's not a hard sand that you can walk on top of.

I have those in navy and animal print.  I wear them often because they give me a much needed one inch boost in height. However, be warned that they are not as supportive as the original flat Vionics.  These are more squishy and not comfortable for walking long distances.
