I'm in central Texas and I agree. It's a very southwest fall color, as someone posted examples of above.

I really like the turquoise bag! Is it heavy? Can you describe the leather?

Shawnie, it is heavier than some other bags but not over the top. It is most definitely a DOONEY, has that quality feel. The handles are so substantial and the whip stitching just really adds a nice touch. The leather is smooth and has a subtle sheen - very soft but has substance. I have bought some D&B bags in the past few years that just didn't come up to my standards, but this one does. Reminds me of some of the older bags. (And I bought my first D&B in the 1970's so I've had many.) I recommend it highly.

I recently saw this bag in 'as-is' and foolishly 'stalked' it there for several days, only to let it get away. I guess I was hoping to find it at a better price... Love the turquoise mail satchel! In fact, this Toledo silhouette has become one of my very favorite Dooney bags. I'd love to have it in every color!

My MIL loves the D&B handbags and she often shops at the stores and waits until they mark the colors down, which they often do. Now I know she doesn't have the second bag you showed cinebee so where do I find it and if here, what is the stock #?

I think the colors are great for fall and winter too.
