OP, I covet that bag. I love the Toledo mail satchels and would love to have that one in turquoise, and yes, I think it'll work for fall. It isn't 'typical' fall attire, but I think the beautiful dark brown trim enhances it's versatility. This bag is beautiful in ever color.

Oh, and the turquoise color is one of my favorite too. Perfect for any season. I am getting a handful of turquoise jewelry for myself....love love love sky blue!

That's a gorgeous color bag and I'd use it all year in a heartbeat (and I live in the Midwest)...

Why do you think you would get a returned bag? I have been shopping with QVC since it was CVN and I don't think I have ever gotten a return.....

Sometimes they ship returned bags. I got one of the DB bags which was not stuffed with paper, so clearly a return. Didn't matter since I ended up returning it for other reasons, but if you pay full price for a brand new bag, you want what you paid for, that is A BRAND NEW BAG!

I got an ivy returned logo lock. It was a mess in the box and was missing the coin purse - the main reason why I bought the bag in the first place (it was before I discovered they are for sale on the Dooney site.)

When I called CS to get this shipped back for free, they said a LOT or Dooney's logo locks get returned missing the coin purse!

I own that beautiful bag in the golden yellow color and I agree that at least from the presentation the turquoise color is darker and with the dark brown trim makes it very versatile.

The turquoise arrived today and it's gorgeous. Now I'm fighting with myself trying NOT to order the yellow, too! I think the yellow would be beautiful for as a little added color for fall......

Enjoy your new bag ! I guess these days there are no rules. I have turquoise bag and I love it,although it's an open tote so I have to wear it in the summer. I just bought powder pink satchel and I plan to wear it this fall. I posted picture of it today on the post about Kate Spade new bag on general handbag topic.
