A295315 by Clarks.  I like everything about this shoe.  Suede, strap around ankle which is very attractive on the foot and the heel is perfect.  Maybe if I was 40 again.  lol  You can wear this shoe with dresses, skirts, slacks.  It is the perfect all around Fall/Winter shoe.  Sandra was wearing these in black one day and they were so attractive on her foot.  Very feminine.

Maybe it's just my opinion, and, if so, take it for what it's worth; however, ankle straps visually cut the leg, thereby making it appear shorter and consequently, heavier.

@IamMrsG,   I think an ankle boot would be worse than a strap.  It's the price you pay to look glamorous!  I wear ankle boots but no more high heels for me but I really liked the look of this shoe.

@Katcat1  I imagine I am considerably older than you, but I also avoid wearing ankle boots (without trousers over them) for the same reason.  A line cutting the leg is a line cutting the leg.

I am in no regards trying to dissuade you from buying or enjoying these shoes.  I hope they serve you well for a long time.

@IamMrsG,  I could never wear a heel this high.  Those days are over for me.  I am in my mid 60's and look for lower heels and comfort.

@Katcat1 ~ very nice shoe!  For me, the heel is too high and I think I'd have an issue with the ankle strap.  For those who purchased them, girrrl...you'll be "stylin!"  👠👍🏼

I'll admit it. When I read "Clarks" I immediately thought "no way". I love them. I also love the Clarks Wynnmere that popped up as a suggestion. (Ankle strap). That being said, I just returned a pair of ankle strap Steve Madden (same idea, lower heal) because they were not comfortable to walk in. The ankle strap hit funny.

Unless you have long, slim legs, I do not think ankle straps do anyone any favors.  Also, I'm not a fan of contrasting heels on dressy shoes.
