@chrystaltree  Not sure why a wider width would help when your heel would be coming out of them.  The toe box is wider on any foot that I have ever seen and very few shoe companies make shoes to accommodate that.  If one has bunions, it even complicates it further.

There is a brand called  Ryka who makes shoes for women and their shoes should be what  you are looking for.

I have had this problem also.  I have a very slender foot and never needed a wide width.  The shoe will fit every where else just fine.  If I go to wider width, then they are floppy and don't fit right.  Go up a size and flip-flop on my feet!!! I agree!
