Re: Receiving others returned merchandise

Maybe I am missing it but I am not seeing where anyone said they carried a bag for a full 30 days and returned it. I have purchased a bag (Amy K) and loaded it up and carried it to the store and came home, unloaded it and shipped it back. It was a $250 bag that weighted a ton once loaded but I could not tell that without doing what I did.

I am not a serial return bag person, but in that instance, I was happy about the return policy. My last orYany bag that I paid full price was a return. It was not wrapped but you could tell someone just unwrapped it and tried it on and shipped it back. I truly consider that new.

I think Q just needs to inspect a little more carefully. I don't mind new (when something was just unwrapped and inspected) but I do mind used if I am not buying it as is.

Thank you for your post. I'm really tired of arguing the point with people who are too blind to understand it. I value my time more. Not interested in wasting it on pointless discussions.

I agree. As long as a bag sold as new is pristine, I have no worries, but don't want to pay full price for something sold as new that truly should be sold 'as is'.

I agree to a point, there needs to be a tag system in place with handbags and clothing...once the tag is removed, QVC would instantly see the item was used.

I agree.

Just because they give you 30 days to send it back does not mean USE IT for 30 days for free and then return it used. It means you have 30 days to check it out and decide if you want to keep it BEFORE you use it.

As long as there is a thirty day return policy, the purchaser is free to use the product for 30 days then return it. I'm not saying it's right, just the way it is with a thirty day, no questions asked return policy. Same with beauty products - you can send back an empty jar at the end of thirty days, according to Jane Treacy.
