As Stevie already mentioned, QVC sells a large volume of these bags, so some of them happen to be defective....others are returned by customers who decided the bags were too large....or some other reasons... I personally purchased a few of GILI bags in different styles (Roma 2, domed satchel, Milano hobo, Vintage Leather Hobo, Stirrup hobo) and I love them all. No issues here. The quality of the more expensive hobos is amazing. That being said, the recent prices are ridiculously high. I got mine for less. Also, if you check, there are plenty of Dooney and Bourke as is bags as well.
