When my husband was alive, it was my favorite day. He always took the day off and brought me and our 3 daughters flowers and cards for everyone.

We didn't go to dinner because everyone else was. We always ate dinner out several times a week any way when the girls got older. I'd make a nice dinner and we'd be happy.

Now, I get cards from my girls and a few friends. Today my youngest granddaughter (Miss Megan) turns 2. We were all there when she was born. It was wonderful. I remember every minute from what was said to her beautiful face. She face timed me this afternoon. She got a very large set of drums for her birthday. She played me something on them!

Annabelle, that is absolutely the sweetest post. It gave me chills and tears at the same time. You have some wonderful, and oh so sweet and cherished memories. You are so fortunate that the sweet little two year old miss will make so many more. ENJOY!
