Just got the terracotta, which others have said is a nude color. This is my first GILI so I can't compare to others in the line. I'm pretty much a Brahmin or Dooney girl, but wanted a backpack bag for when I'm traveling and I liked the looks and medium size. I'm not disappointed. I can fit everything I usually carry and my 7 inch tablet, with enough room for small extras. If I was using this to tote books and files it would be too small. For me the size looks perfect. Haven't worn it yet; will do that next week on a trip. Quality of leather and construction appears good. Style is great. Since I bought this for its backpack function I'm not concerned with how well it crossbody or arm/hand carries. I'll find out next week how well it works for me in the backpack mode. Based on what I see, I have high hopes.

HI! I wanted to see if someone who has the Petal color could give me their opinion. I purchased the snow leopard and love it but was going to then purchase the black or the brown snake thinking it would be able to be used all year round. The thing is I have the black Milano and I'm wondering if I purchase the backpack in black if that would be more like a duplicate. I was actually starting to think about the Petal. I don't have any purses that color but what has me worried is its versatility. Do you think you could use a good part of the year? Or is it a real bright pink? I'm kind of hoping for a pink/nude. Thanks so much in advance for your opinion!
