I've wanted the nylon small domed satchel in yellow for a while, and now it's available for $79! I only have one other nylon bag...the braided shopper...that I bought at a QVC Outlet, and personally I love it. It's very lightweight. However, I did purchase a new Bailey bag from the Q when it was $99. I might order the yellow nylon and return the yellow Bailey bag, which I'm carrying at the moment, since I bought 2 other Bailey bags as well...the t-morrow brown and the jeans color...lol...

Actually, I purchased 3 of the clearance Bailey bags...t-morrow and jeans also...lol...I might return the yellow Bailey and get the yellow nylon domed satchel instead, since I have the other two Baileys!

I got this bag in Peanut Brittle a couple of months ago at Macys for $118 which was a good deal. I carried it until the rain started. You just have to be more careful, but I liked the sporty look and when you have a LOT of bags, it won't get overused. It was all about the color. I used a suede spray beforehand. Nice and light which is a factor for me.

Product image is missing!

I almost asked earlier whether anyone had this color, I had never seen it before. Now the color is sold out so I guess it was meant to be.

Most of my collection is in the large category. Fortunately, there isn't much rain in California..especially in the fall, which is sadly over...

Oh Boy, I am dating myself, but I had the All Weather leather Dooney in a beautiful taupe back in the day. You could get caught in a storm and be OK. I carried that bag for six years every day to work. Then I passed it on and that person got another 4 years out of it.

I need to get a soft suede brush though for the hobo; it does have little nubbies that come off. Enjoy the marine !!

I really wish they'd do a line of 'classics' like Coach does and offer us a lot more in AWL...

TK, what are you sending back? I'm going to wait until after Christmas, when maybe the mail isn't quite so iffy, and then send back that TSV. I'm reluctant to put anything in the mail right now... In fact, to avoid the after Christmas return 'rush', I might even wait until mid-January...

Well, I finally decided to send the Milano croco hobo back. It was a hard decision, since the bag didn't have any issues...other than it was stiff and the handle was in a way, so I took your advice and decided even the $200 bag isn't worth keeping if it's not very functional and doesn't allow easy in and out access! Then, I'm returning the tobi tote but it was brand new, so it doesn't really count. And I think I'll return the flo satchel I took to Europe with me. It's a pretty bag but extremely heavy and I'm not sure I'll ever use it again....a $330 occasional bag seems too expensive... I hope Macys still takes it... I hate to return it and not sure what they do with returns but the bag looks like new! I dunno.. Maybe I should keep it due to sentimental reasons....it was in Europe with me after all Smiley Happy and well, I also decided to return the black Roma 2 and just keep the blush one. The bag looks too simple alongside all the Dooney bags I got... I think Clayton in black is enough. I like the idea of buying all those Dooneys on sale... I returned bunch of other junk I got, just so I can justify keeping the bags Smiley Wink EDIT: I should probably keep that satchel....memories.....

Wow... don't blame you on the Tobi or the croco hobo, though the croco was a beautiful bag. I sent both of my hobos back, actually sent the black one first... Just didn't care for it... Not sure on Macy's and the Flo... it's been a while, so you must've bought it some time ago. Nordstrom wouldn't bat an eye, but, well, don't know... but it sounds like you're on the fence about that one... Love the Roma in black... Always a personal choice, but for me that would probably be a staple, unlike (for me, and just my personal opinion) the pink or violet you just bought..., but then the only pastel I tend to do is turquoise... Otherwise, I just don't care for those choices. Dooney did a 'salmon' one year I liked, but that was about it for me and the pink and purple family... The Clayton is a must have. Love that bag... As noted, for me, sending the TSV back and will see how the Bristol looks when it gets here. Also taking a cheapie back to Marshall's that I got for rainy weather, but decided I have plenty of wet weather bags and it just looks so plastic, mainly because it is! But it's not even a nicer vinyl bag. There might be some more going back, but I have yet to decide. Do think I'll be keeping the Kors though. Love that bag, adore the color...

Since I had a Paypal credit for a return (Nordstrom Rack), I got the Nylon Medium Zip hobo in the navy for $99 from I Love Dooney to get the free shipping. Dooney's threshold was $100. It is an upgrade from my navy Kipling that I dragged around all summer. Since I retired, I carry much less dressy handbags.

Hope you all enjoy your recent holiday purchases. I have a lot of fun reading what everyone else is thinking about. Thanks for all the sharing.

Stevie, I have about 10 bags in neutral colors already - black, olive, wine, grey, brown, luggage. The other half of my collection is a pop of color Smiley Happy blush, baby pink, violet, berry, royal blue, turquoise, grape. After careful evaluation, I decided that the bags I returned wouldn't get too much use given the fact that I liked the other ones more.... even with "only" 20 bags in my collection, I think I have too many of them.... haven't even used the Clayton yet and I love my MK Bedford as well but for some reason haven't used it much...yet. Well, it's good to know I'm not the only one returning bags.... Smiley Happy

I haven't ordered a new Dooney in so long. I kept looking at the suede hobo on the ILD site. I couldn't decide between the marine and the chocolate. I just went back to look. The marine was sold out, but they still had the chocolate. Decision made. I ordered it right away. Can't wait to get it. Hope it's lightweight. It looks like a nice bag. Smile
