i just got the dansko nubuck  clogs with buckle detail that QVC is showing today. Such great quality, classic style, and comfy fit. The thing is, I got mine online st a site with no sales tax and with free shipping both ways if they had not fit. Same price ($140) but qvc's cost with Tax and possible return shipping had the clogs not fit would have been more. I keep trying to give QVC my business, but I cannot justify paying more with for the same identical clogs, not to mention risking return shipping charges on QVC if the shoes don't fit. Anyway, great clogs, wherever you get them.

I think this is a great point about anything, but especially Dansko clogs. I have a pair I got mail order and I know I ordered the right size, but they were very large on me. I bought them online because no one local sold the color I wanted. I tried several more pairs on in local stores and found that shoes all labeled the same size seemed to be inconsistent. I love my Dansko shoes and think they're all great quality, but the sizing can be tricky.

I love Dansko but I rarely order on-line anymore due to sizing problems, not only with Dansko but with all brands.   I usually wear a 7 but I can wear anything from a 7 to an 8 now and I don't know why that is.  I've had to send too many shoes back and it just gets too costly.

You're right about sizing. Been there! I knew I might need the free return shipping to try another size, which often happens. Even the numeric euro sizes seem inconsistent these days.

QVC's price always seem to be high - even without the shipping. If they sell 10s of thousands - why can't they compete with lower prices? Most of the time, what they present can be purchased at the same or lower price - with free shipping both ways.

@jackthebear

If u need EZ Pay --- r u OK with paying shipping both ways - if the shoes don't fit OR u don't like them? Returning shoes gets expensive.

I don't think my feet are compatible with Dansko and the similar clogs.  I find them to be hot, heavy and Ill-fitting.  I practically walk out of them.  They don't fit at the heel and apparently they're not supposed to.  Not comfortable.

Sizing is inconsistent, fear sher. When they fit, my feet go into them and are happy all day long. But I know what you mean, because I sometimes read glowing reviews of shoes that don't fit me feet at all.

I try to avoid paying full prices for shoes, when I can help it. I got a pair of Dansko clogs when they went down to $49.99. Now I hope my poor feet will thank me.
