Booties are my favorite winter shoes - last year JCP had a really good selection and I stocked up (8 pairs) just in case it was just a "flash-in-the-pan" thing.

I'm not interested in buying the Big Deal, but I am hoping today's Big Deal on Q2 is a good omen that booties will be widely available.   I need some more colors!

I like booties a lot too...however these Big Deal booties look like they have been recycled from last year.  They don't have very good reviews even though I think they are cute.

I bought them last winter. They are nice enough but not exciting in any way. Just a basic shoe. Comfortable.

I'm having trouble finding a cute POINTED TOE boot like youre describing......with a WIDE WIDTH. So many wide width booties have round toes, I have a couple of pair and I dont really like them. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have a medium width foot ... so I have no clue about wide widths.  

BUT ... you might want to check for the brands JOURNEE COLLECTION or JOURNEE SIGNATURE.  Amazon carries them, as do a lot of other places.

ALSO ... the ARIZONA brand are available in lots of stores.  I got mine in JCP.

I have pointed toe booties and shoes from both brands.  

You could also google "pointed toe women's boots"  (booties come up too).
