Is there a difference between the ones called Arizona those that are not?

The style is different; not the original footbed (unless you go for the soft footbed). Check on-line and you'll see all of the different styles! You'll be so surprised and understand why so many of us have dozens and dozens of pairs of Birkenstocks! There is a style, color, type of footwear for everyone and every occasion. Trust me, I probably have all of them  . . . and more since I've been collecting them over decades. Best footwear ever. Heart

Arizona has been around for years and a classic. The colors, prints and styles have been updated and they are quite fashionable. Years ago I bought some Birki Flor at Q which are the mademade uppers. They were in citrus colors and I loved them.

HSN carries them and a nice variety. The leather uppers are more expensive. I think Birki and Naot made in Israel are my favorite cork bottom shoes that mold to your foot and are so good for walking.

QVC sold Birkenstock years ago.  Sally Combs was the vendor.  She was well known for her hippie style and her kick of one leg.  She was well-liked.  Between Sally and the selection of Birkenstock, I bought quite a few pairs of the shoes.  I still have many of them .. I do say they are durable.  They are expensive up front, but the quality is good.

The Arizona is the style name for the classic double strap sandal.  I have several pairs.  They are really comfortable.

There are lots of styles but they mostly apply to the top strap portion of the birkies. There are a couple of different footbed styles - some are higher, taller, thicker than others that are a bit flatter.

Love birkies, have ever since the Q started selling them - by the droves too!!!  Tons of styles, fun designs and colors. I still wear them today, every day in fact at least in the house in winter time. Give me the single strap style and I AM IN!!!!!!!  In fact I just got a new pr of black single strap from amazon. SO glad I found them.
