Shoes

I only wear black shoes in fall and winter.  If I wear black dress pants or black skirt or dress in the spring or summer, I wear wear colored shoes.  I like to break up black in spring/summer with color.  However, nude is the ultimate neutral so it works with every color...even black.

I loved the way nude pumps worked with almost everything Duchess Kate wore, so I bought a pair.

I've worn them very few times, and (I think) only with navy.  I just do not like how they look on me.  I'm short and wear a 6.5.  I think they make my feet look larger.

With black, generally I wear black.  In spring and summer I go with patent.  Fall and winter, it tends to be suede.

I always wear black shoes with black pants. When I wear a black skirt or dress I will wear a black or a metallic shoe. In the summer I can also wear my black patent peep toe pumps with cutouts which don’t look so dark and wintery. I do own nude shoes, but I tend to wear them with colors other than black.

Nude shoes are used on most modeling jobs etc as it does not cut off the foot from the leg to enhance the appearance of the leg and height.   In short, Nude is more flattering. 

I say wear what you want and feel good in.   I am not vain and could care less what others think when I am not working.
