My favorite retired patterns are Raspberry Fizz and Bali Blue. The first VB I ever purchased was a Mini Hipster (the older style Mini Hipster is so much better than the current model IMO) in Raspberry Fizz, followed by a pleated tote in Bali Blue.

Of the current patterns, Midnight Blues in my favorite. It is scheduled to retire in November I think.

Hi Tissyanne..I have the Floral Nightingale laptop case..LOVE the pattern, its pretty subdued as you said! I also love English Rose, (carrying it now) and love the Clementine as well!
