Re: All Time Favorite Patterns

Love Midnight Blues, Clementine, English Rose, Flutterby. Question, does anyone have Floral Nightingale? The purple colors are so bright online, but I ordered the turn lock wallet, and it is not near as bright and colorful as on line.

Re: All Time Favorite Patterns

Tissyanne, I have Floral Nightingale, and yes, it isn't as vivid in person as it can look online.

Some patterns can be very deceiving. They look bright and beautiful online, maybe because of the photo editor that's being used to brighten up the photos. On the other hand, some don't look great online but in person they're gorgeous.

The best thing to do, of course, is to go to a Vera store and check them out in person. Then you can decide what you really love. That's how I fell in love with Make Me Blush. Wow I loved it in person but not so much online.

Good luck and happy shopping!

DD likes "fanfare" -- black/white/yellow.

I carry Vibrant Black large Villager. Have Chanticleer (love) Carry Bermuda Blue/Katherine in summer. Love the older patterns that have a "French" feel, as you can tell!

Quackertoo... is the Petal Pink the one with lime green inside? TIA

It has some green but I wouldn't call it lime green. The flowers look very similar to the newer Petal Paisley but without the black background and paisley. My daughter had the lunch bag in Petal Pink and carried it from 6th grade to middle of 12th grade when it got a tear or two inside with the plastic/vinyl lining. The thing still look almost like new except the handle was a little worn too. More of a leaf green like a fern or a little brighter.

I think the only thing I've bought in that was an umbrella for daughter and the chain lanyard and zip id for my Mother in Law for our cruise last year. Not bright at all . . . just a normal purple, not too light not too dark, I'd say.

Thank you for answering my question. I thought maybe I got a bad one. I have not had this come up with Vera before. Everything is usually much prettier than on line. Enjoy your day.

Thank you. The photos on line show the colors to be very bright. Have a great evening.

Re: All Time Favorite Patterns

I've followed Vera Bradley for a long time but other than an umbrella about 4 years ago I never bought anything because I just didn't fall in love with a pattern. Until canterberry magenta. I'm working on accumulating travel bags in that pattern before they are gone. So far I have the Get Carried Away tote and ditty bag. I'm not a duffle bag person so I'm trying to decide between the Frame Travel Bag and the Grand Traveler. I'm having a hard time choosing between all the cosmetics bags too. I already picked up the Pet Carrier and leash for my chihuahua and the Tablet Hipster. I'm thinking about the laptop carryall are a larger purse.

Re: All Time Favorite Patterns

My very first Vera Bradley bag was a hipster in the Botanica pattern - still think it is striking! Since then I have bags in Sittin' in a Tree, Blue Rhapsody, Mocha Rouge, Plum Petals, and Camellia.

I thought I was finished purchasing more VB bags, but I just received a sport duffle in Citron and it is beautiful!! Every one of my bags and wallets were bought on sale and once a year combined with a birthday coupon.

So many of the older patterns are like works of art to me...

Re: All Time Favorite Patterns

I am in LOVE with Venetian Paisley. I've got a wallet, id case, hipster bag, headband, Miller bag, large cosmetic case, coin purse, fleece blanket, tote, glass case and a few other items -- all since I was gifted the hipster bag at Christmas. I'm totally addicted and it's OK.

I just found this forum and I'm so excited!! Vera Bradley makes my heart go pitter-patter.
