italian or swiss buttercreme

has anyone made italian or swiss buttercreme froasting? been seeing it online and seeing great reveiws on it.

This is my recipe for Swiss buttercream:

 

3 sticks softened butter

1/8 tsp salt

1 3/4 cups confectioners' sugar

12 oz Fluff marshmallow creme

1 tbsp vanilla extract (use clear if you want bright white frosting)

 

Whisk butter and salt with electric mixer ( I use my stand mixer) until smooth.  With mixer on low speed, slowly add sugar.  Whisk on medium speed until smooth.  Add Fluff and whisk on medium-high until light and fluffy.  Whisk in vanilla on low speed, then whisk on medium-high until mixed in for about 1/2 minute.

Martha Stewart has a wonderful recipe for Swiss Meringue Buttercream icing.  The recipe is easy to follow and is delicious!!
