I added these to potato soup with chicken...yum! {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}I think I like this recipe without eggs better than dumplings made with eggs.

Dumplings

1 cup flour
1 tsp. white sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 T butter
1/2 cup milk

Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in milk to make a soft dough. Drop by small spoonfuls into boiling stew, broth, soup...
Cover and simmer on low for 15 minutes without lifting the lid.
