I really enjoy alot of the recipes on Lil Luna web page, I've made a lot of different ones especially the desert recipes. She has quite a few dips and appetizer recipes. Check it out.

@cinderford please take a look at Tablespoon's website. Lots of great ideas (both sweet and savory) for dips from simple chip-n-dips to more heaty ones to spread on toasted breads. This is one that is simple yet genius (why didn't I think of that?):

@Loveac, glad you mentioned this one. The cream cheese, Old English and Roka Bleu is excellent. I've made it a lot over the years and always get compliments. Sometimes I've even just put the mixture in a nice dish and didn't bother with making it into a ball.

Simple but tasty Mexican dip
In a 9" pie plate, layer the following (5 layers):
1) 1 small can of Bean dip (sold in grocery stores)
2) 8 oz sour cream + 3 or 4 Tbsp. taco seasoning (to taste)
3) 2 ripe avocados mashed + 1 Tbsp lemon juice + a couple shakes of hot sauce
4) 1 cup shredded Cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
5) 3 or 4 green onions diced, including some of the greens + 2 or 3 Roma tomatoes diced + 1 small can diced black olives, drained
Refrigerate before serving with corn chips.

Our family loves a frozen roll of sausage fried and crumbled with a can of Rotel and a block of creamed cheese all melted together in a pan. Use Fritos for dipping. It looks kind of strange, but it tastes so good!

Artichoke/spinach dip
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix well. Bake in 350-degree oven for about 30 minutes (remove when you see the cheeses bubbling).
Serve with scoop chips or crackers.
