Any one own 1 of these?

I like the rectangular size loaf instead of that short square.

Looks like it should be a good bread maker

You can get a Norpro 12" x 4" bread pan to bake your bread in.

DH does not like the shape of bread that bread machines make so sometimes he rolls out the dough & uses this pan. It makes a regular sandwich size loaf.

We generally just use our machine to make the dough.

I hate spending that much, but, I'm a bread lover and in winter time it's hard to find a warm, draft free spot to raise my own homemade bread.

My sister is handing out xmas money already I may take her contribution and add to it and treat myself.

We always turn the oven on the lowest setting to let the dough rise. It's too cold in our house for it to rise in the winter. LOL!!!

I'm pretty sure when we do it in the summer we turn the oven on then back off after it heats to lowest temp. In the winter I think we leave the oven on.

I would like to try Sourdough bread but I wonder how it would work out as cool as we keep it in the house.

I have had one for years. I don't always use it for baking the bread, however. Many times I just it for the dough cycle, and form rolls or baguettes and bake them in the oven. In cooler months, I use it weekly. I have the rectangular one.

Is it worth the money if you were only going to use it to make the dough? That's all we use our bread machine for.

The pricey one (Zojirushi) makes regular loaf of bread like you buy at walmart. Main reason I wanted it. I got the Cuisinart bread machine for 99

from Bed and Bath that makes the tall/short loaf. Never cared for the looks of it. LOL

I make bread for us and for some folks from  our church, so, I 'll be getting my use out of it.

Most people  today don't even want to take  the time to use a bread machine, but, that's OK, I do, so,  I'm Queenie Bread lady. ROFL
