Re: Zojirushi bread machine

[ Edited ]

I have posted pics of my homemade bread here and in another forum .

I think the machines are nice for winter time.

I have the mini and it works out great for me.  I haven't bought bread in a store for the 3 years I have had it.  (only buns once)  It's easy to move, but normally I leave it out as I use it so often Good size for  one or two people.  (I am glad it came in white; so many small appliances no longer have white available.)

I have the little one and it’s the best bread maker I’ve found. I also have their small rice maker which is also terrific.  Can’t say enough about them. They are really top notch

@meem120  We have an induction Zo rice cooker because we eat a lot of rice, and it does make great rice.  We also bought a little black one that is a new model (can't remember the model no.) but it has a setting for steel cut oats and we love them!  We put them in the machine before we go to bed, set it and they are done when we get up.

It makes great rice too, but it also has the setting for the oats.  We were trying to eat better breakfasts and this has really helped.

Be still my heart.  I've been longing for the larger Zo for a long time.  I have the mini Zo which is wonderfful and is also the reason I can't justify ordering the big one.  I argue with myself all the time about this.  The logical me always wins but the "I want" me keeps harping on it.

@Free2be  Don't justify it.  Just order it1  LOL!!!  They have a new plus model that is difficult to find right now--King Arthur Flour doesn't have it  yet.  SO the next to last model may be popping up cheaper now.  It has TWO elements in it so the top browns better

Go on line to Zo and take a peek and compare!  There isn't THAT much difference.  I would love to have one of the two newer ones 'cause my big one doesn't have that second element--but it still makes good bread.

I'll probably get the Supreme model. Don't care if it has a gluten free feature or not.

Does anyone have a model number for the small one. I checked ebay and they have some at a good price, but I don't know which one is a mini. Thanks
