Generally if you can call it a cookie, I'm all over it. However, I learned at a very early age that cookies at my maternal grandparents house meant Fig Newtons. What a cruel joke to a 4 year old who says yes to the offer of a cookie, and gets handed a fig newton! YUCK! Our cookie jar at home usually had chocolate chip cookies, sugar wafer cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies or snickerdoodles in it. My preference is chocolate chip, oreo, oatmeal raisin, or sugar wafers.
