I would have to say that I have a few:

Anytime - Caramel/sea salt Biscotti (this is store bought)

Christmas - Butter cookies with chopped walnuts

Christmas - Pecan Balls with chopped dates

Christmas - Spritz cookies

I like cookies, I have to admit but lately I am only eating a Biscotti.  The others are a treat at Christmas with a lot more calories.  Share your favorite cookies and also one cookie recipe.

DATE PECAN BALLS

1 cup soft butter; 1/2 cup sugar; 2 t. vanilla; 2 cups sifted flour; 1 to 1-1/4 cup chopped pecans and 1 cup chopped dates.  I buy the dates that are already chopped in a box and are dusted with fine sugar.  Dates do not have a distinct flavor but rather sweet.

Cream butter and sugar add vanilla and mix; add flour & mix; add pecans and dates mix.  Form into balls (a little larger than a teaspoon).  Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours covered.  

Grease baking sheet and bake 20 min. at 350.  Cool slightly and roll in powder sugar and then sprinkle with powder sugar.  Yum.

Not a big cookie eater but this might qualify....it seems 

cookie - ish!!  This hits the spot when i want a chocolate

treat !!

Funny you should ask, @Katcat1!!

In the past year, my taste buds have done a 180.

I currently love white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, whereas before I loathed white chocolate!

As far as a recipe goes, I've tried many, but have yet to find the one.

I've tried all butter, and half butter/half butter flavored Crisco, etc., but haven't found the right consistency of chewy/crispy.

If anyone has a T&T recipe, I'm in!  

I also love the lacy, paper-thin molasses cookies that my BFF makes. TDF!
