Very. O.T., but this board is where I usually post

Lest We Forget

I have looked around the forum and have not found a post about the significance of today, December 7, when over 2,000 Americans were killed at Pearl Harbor.

I find it disturbing that we might be forgetting our history. We have much to be grateful for, but every bit as much to lose. I suggest we take a moment out of our busy days to think about the great loss so many endured that day and for years following. In our not too distant past, we were all sure, “We’ll never forget.” Today should be a forever reminder.

Strive for respect instead of attention. It lasts longer.
