Hi there.....haha....the 105 year old person shuffling along, Tootie, could be me!   I need to have more respect when I see people shuffling in and out of places....pain is real!

cookie, anxious to hear how your DD is doing and what caused her problem.

Ordinary day...few errands ...laundry at home...fun, fun all the time!

Good evening. Decided to go to book club. It was good to see the ladies. More than 18 months since I have seen them. We had a great discussion even though I hadn't read the book. We meet for sn hour so I was home before school busses arrived.

Cookie: hope your DD is home. I know you have heard me speak of Helpless Hannah. She said she had gastric bypass and rinds anemic. I didn't know this was a side affect. But it does make sense. She was at BC. Said her doctor is re impending she move back to IL. She lives with her daughter here who is a massage therapist. Works 7 days a week long hours. Depends on Mkm to do everything like cook, laundry, housekeeping etc. I take her comments with a grain of salt but her DD is a workaholic. Don't know how soon this might happen. I wasn't surprised and wish her well.
She had a major procedure. Dr not sure it will be successful.

Coffee bar ready.

Planning to hit TS tommorrow. Hope to go to Cafe Sunday after church will go to TS to pull my areas. Men's pants and glassware.

Good morning ~

I can only assume DD returned home last night as I fell asleep early and was really out.  Will know later this morning.  Weird, but fairly normal at this house 🙄 Back is somewhat better but still here in spurts.  I am quickly becoming the 105 woman! 😕

Glad you did attend the BC kittyfan.  Nice to see old friends and have a good discussion.  Enjoy your visit at the Cafe.  Good to go to the TS too.  

No flying totes here Thursday Tootie!  Just mind visual laughs😄😄  I remember years ago when just the tops would fly off of ours.  Never found some of them.

kittyfan, it sounds like you had a good day ... you finally got to see the ladies at BC and you got to beat the dreaded school buses home!! I hope you get to enjoy a nice meal at the Cafe ...

Shoutout to walker ... (came back on to say) we had a bunch of robins sitting on the fence in the yard chirping with each other ... very strange as they usually fly south in the winter ... 🤷‍♀️

DD is coming over today and we're going to make a gingerbread house (from a kit) ... we started doing this about 5 years ago and have made it a tradition ... just the 3 of us!! DH pretty much helps with making sure the walls are put up evenly so "the roof fits just right" hahaha!! the decorating (and eating) of the candy pieces are left to DD and me!

kittyfan, glad you went to the BC meeting and it was enjoyable.....not one of those...why did I come meetings.

Interesting story about Helpless Hannah.  I thought you were in the baby clothes area at TS.  Moved on...or extra areas to do?  Sunday at Cafe...yum!

I love your gingerbread house tradition, Tootie.  Have fun!  Soon you can include LG and LS...or they will each have their own.

Hi all ~   Update!

DD finally woke up and looks pretty good.  She apparently was suffering from many things related to the main cause of her pain.  Her Esophagus had a tear.  When she had her bypass 17 years ago, it was her "new" stomach.  The old stomach could no longer do any of what it was supposed to do so caused pain and problems there as well as her  lungs(doc told her she had long lungs as would a runner or swimmer 🤨).  She had many IV routes on her left arm - can't do the right one due to cancer in 2014. She sure hit the jackpot!!!  She can return to her normal everyday life including working.  She has to go back in 8 weeks, unless a problem, for check up. 

I am sure I messed up the translation.  DD is very good at relating things  and I am very good at ruining the translations!😄 Thank you all for your kind wishes, DD was pleasantly surprised and very grateful.

Good evening. Went to TS to work baby clothes. It was super busy. Got drafted to cashier to give a break. I don't cashier often but they did need the help. When I was cashiering I saw a bunch of little clothes go out!

There was a damper on the day. Jan and Susan were going to lunch. Susan checked her purse. Said her wallet was missing. Called her DH to see if it was at home. At some point I was up front. She says her wallet and another ladies were missing . This later changed to only hers. The other lady located hers. A few years ago I found her wallet. She had left it. I looked to see eho it belonged to and turned it in. Susan called SO and filed a report. Deputy looked like he was 12! I saw two young men who looked to be HS age. Probably doing Community Service.

Cleaned up my area and headed to Cafe. They were having event downtown so parking was tricky. Went in and ordered a jalapeno popper burger. It was wonderful. I enjoyed it but took half with me for later. I had forgotten my lunch but I did have some donut holes. I chatted with one of the regulars vi commented lots of new faces. He agreed that it was nice to see the changes as they work the program. There was one young man who looked so young. Maybe 16!

Had a hard time exiting but finally arrived home.

Hi there......no news from me today but happy to check-in and hear from you, cookie, about DD.  She has really been through a lot in recent years!  Happy to hear she is feeling better and home.  Hope she continues to get stronger, back to her work, etc.  And, cookie, you...mom...need to feel well too...hope today was better for you.

kittyfan, always scary to have someone missing a wallet.  If I worked there, I would only bring in exactly what I needed...keep in pocket...leave rest at home or in my car trunk.  

Tootie, how did the Gingerbread House project go?  I have never done one of those.

Looks like kittyfan has kitchen coffee bar ready to go...just hit "ON", cookie!  😁 See you all tomorrow!

Good morning ~

Tootie, did you have a fun time with the Gingerbread House project?  I remember when my GS and I took a class held by the city library and had a lot of fun.  He was 6 years old and both of us have fond memories. 💖 I wrapped it up every year to save for decorations for the next year.  After a few years, bugs or ? ate their way through it leaving little holes and crumbs.  Sad to trash it. 😥  

kittyfan, I agree with walker about the TS incident -  Bring only what you need and lock the rest in thr trunk before leaving home!  Scary to have to live like that.  Makes you feel violated.  Did you hear about the guy who tried to grab an older lady's purse in the HEB parking lot?  She fell and he ran over her!!! What in the world is wrong with these people.  Lady is recovering.  the guy was caught and arrested.  Hope he is dealt with accordingly!!! Eye for an eye?

The Jalapeno Popper Burger sounds wonderful!  Lucky you. Traffic is awful all over!!
