Yesterday....in our crazy minds....was fun day too.  We do need to keep the Chef around, cookie.  I always liked him. And, we will celebrate getting younger! 👍 You and kittyfan are up next!

Hello ... it was a perfect day for apple picking ... sunny and 66! ... it was a little more crowded than I would have liked (but everyone had masks and DS isn't sure why he needed reservations) ... we chose an area where there weren't too many people so it worked out ok!! ... but, no one told me that I would have to hike up a hill to get to the orchard ... going down was much easier ... and as the apples were falling from the tree (or being dropped by some people) they would go rolling past us down the hill

We got a big bag of apples and will be making applesauce. DH wants to make a pie and we'll just snack on them too.

walker, they started feeding LG food at daycare ... pieces of apples and peas ... DIL tried something (I can't remember what) at home to feed him and he choked so she is going to wait a little bit to see how he does at daycare ... they said he is doing well with it. But she is nervous to try at home so she will stick with the baby "mush" for now ... haha!!

What fun. Apple picking. Love apples. What a great outing.

Went to church this morning. Drove up lots of vehicles. People spaced out. Not that many people. Just mostly usuals. Had a visit with a few ladies which was nice. Stood outside on sidewalk.

Zipped by Café. Bit of delay in ordering. Out of one item. Was okay with changing. I had gotten used to my fegular gal. This was a fella

Was really nice this morning. Holly and Jake comfy under covers. Took convincing to go out

Starting to rain here. Predicted due to TS in Gulf. I had thought of TS tomorrow buy not if raining.

Had a credit card on hold due to fraud alert. I got it resolved but glad I didn't try to use it. I thought I had resolved it as payment was made but all is well now

Good morning ~ What fun you had Tootie!!  What delicious eating you will have.  Well worth the uphill climb  I love homemade applesauce and apple butter.  LG is getting older - real food.  We used to give our kids little bites of our food here and there while eating at the table to start.  Messy but the dogs and cats loved it - the floor had lots of yummies!

kittyfan, we should be getting the rain today and with much cooler temps - 70.  Can't wait - more mud YUCK!  Don't you love it when your furry animals curl up with you?  No they don't like to move, but necessary to get going.

Had the whold day to myself. I got to watch a marathon of Mama's Family which is one show I love along with The Golden Girls, etc.  DD and SIL went down to the "country" - SIL's parents ranch property with even more cows now.  They have a gazebo and a small stream.  88 acres of beautiful land.  So nice that they were able to do this in their retirement years.  

Oh no!  It's Moanday! 😟  Lots of clean up to do - make room for new batches of mud - oh boy can't wait.

Good Morning.....Take 2 ....HA!  I did not want to rush through chatting with my friends here! I had to email a friend earlier so that took up a few minutes.  Anyway.....all fed and here I BE again! 

Tootie, sounds like you had a good apple picking day there yesterday.....even if it included another stress test up the hill!  You are going to enjoy some delicious fresh-off-the-tree apple treats.  Starting children on real food is scary ...or was to me.  I give a good friend credit for starting my oldest on it.  I was visiting her when he was about 9 months and had not tried regular food.  Her daughter was about a year and a half eating a graham cracker.  My friend asked if she could give one to my son.  I said he had never had one......she said....well, time to try.  I have told both her and my son since.....he would still be on soft foods if not for her.....🤣🤣.

kittyfan, glad you got your credit card issue resolved.  Sounds like a lot of people are returning to church.  I'm not ready yet which may seem silly since I go other places.  I really am enjoying Mass on TV.  In some ways, I feel I get more out of it but miss receiving Communion.

cookie, I hope your DD and SIL's get-away helped after sad week having to say good-bye to Jax.  Sounds like a nice relaxing place.  And, you got to relax too....with laughs on TV.

We are scheduled to have a beautiful weather week ahead.

I think tomorrow is officially Fall (?).  Have already seen some pretty Fall colors from travel last week.

Hello friends ... taking a quick UB waiting for my dryer.

walker, I know what you mean about Mass at home ... it is so much easier to listen and pay attention ... but, I too, miss receiving Communion. My thinking of not going to church but still go out to the store and out and about is .. at least when we are out we can steer away from people ... at Mass you are sitting in the same spot for about an hour ... if someone around you starts hacking and sneezing ... you're stuck there!! (unless of course you get up and leave) ... that's still a little bit too close for comfort for me ... AND going up to Communion is a whole other story ... are the priests and Eucharistic Ministers hands totally disinfected?? not a chance I'm ready to take.

What a cute story about your friend giving your son a graham cracker to try for the first time ... and laughing at the comment about soft food.

Hi there.......another day about to close.....had to go to dermatologist doctor today for my annual check-up.  I am very prone to skin cancers.  We did not grow up using SPF 200 or 10 or anything...it was get sun...tan!!  Only I just burned!!!  I had to have two biopsys today....☹️...🤞...hope I get benign report!!!  

Tootie, I agree with your thoughts on returning to church.  Wherever I go, I feel I can social distance or...maybe even remove mask.....or stay home...life is pretty simple.  It will continue to be church at home here for awhile.  I am sure God understands and wants us to be well!

Good morning ~  Wishing you luck and positive results at the Dermatologist today walker. 🤞🤞  I grew up with the same mantra - get out in the sun and tan!  Spent summers at the Beach,  Fortunately, I did not burn. just tanned.  But this old skin is paying for it now.

I wonder how many people are enjoying church from home?  I think more people would attend since it is so easy.  However, I do understand missing the personal touches.  At least you get the same great seats every time!

Tootie have you started making applesauce, cobblers, apple butter, apple pies yet?  YUMMMMM

Glad you were able to clear up the credit card issues kittyfan.  It's always something isn't it?!!!  Ready for more rain?  At least it's cooler - 70's.
