ugh, kittyfan, I just picture Daryl coming in and just looking at your A/C ... not sure on what he should do! 😳 glad you have that one in your bedroom! ... I'm sure they will figure something out as soon as DB gets involved!!

Thanks for the sleep tip walker ... luckily I haven't had that issue in a while (knock on wood) but will give that I try when necessary ... sorry those susans didn't work out for you ... I had one lone hosta out in front that never grew and eventually died ...

Lots of rain today and on tap for the next several days ☔ ... I guess I'll find something to do indoors 🫤

Happy Wednesday!  Very cloudy right now with a passing shower and then maybe a brighter day.  

One more day of April....whooooosh goes another month!

May is a good month...😉.  Our day coming up on 4th, Tootie.  We will be at Notre Dame that day on our way home from Ohio.  

Good thing you have some cool air there, kittyfan.  Dear Daryl needs help....look out for Cousin Eddie to roll in..😂.

Thanks for coffee....hits the spot and I would love a piece of Key Lime Pie...coffee, pie and friends....it's a good day!

Oh key lime 🥧. Yum.  

My AC saga continues.  Brother had his iron infusion today.  His DW sent me a pic of him in the chair.  I went to pick up lunch.  The head maintenance person was walking by. Asked me what the problem was. Duh---nothing happening. Said he would be by to look at it.  About 40 minutes later the three Daryl's arrive.   Brothers DW called to chat.  She could hear part of the commotion. I could hear brother in the background. Then he gets on the phone to get the latest.  He wanted to talk to someone. So the head fella was gone but I grabbed one to talk to him.  He said he wanted the chief to call him.  Said the professional would be here tomorrow.   About 4 there was a knock on the door I expected one of the Daryl's but it was brother b they had stopped for food and brought me yummy food. He said the head fella had called him and they had a conversation. He expected things to be fixed and not drag out for weeks like last year.  Brother did look like he had more energy!   He was going home to rest.  I am sure he was on the lap top and phone. Tomorrow he has an appointment at the 🏠.  Plan to head home Friday.  He will be back but his DW won't be back for a while. We have a tentative plan to do lunch with another lady from church. We shared Easter last year.  SHe was a teacher elementary school.  This will be her next trip.

I do talk with brothers DW frequently. She keeps me up to date on happening around. 

Walker:  I know you are in trip mode. What a lovely visit.

wow kittyfan, you had quite the day! I hope now that DB talked with one of the Daryl's that things will get done 🤞and if not, DB will go a step higher!! ... are things moving along with with your house?? almost done?

walker, if you have to be on the road for your anniversary, what a nice place to stop on your way home ... we'll go out to dinner somewhere, just haven't decided where yet.

We'll have a rainy and cool 49 degree day and they are predicting frost for tonight!! (although weatherman says it might not hit our area) ... I have no plants out yet, so I don't have to worry.

Happy Thursday!  Sunny morning but frost on roof tops.  That won't last long.  

Busy day ahead.....laundry, pack, get manicure....take UB..ha!   I will try to check in later and let you know if I am ready.  Be in the car at 6AM...🥱....we lose an hour and want to be at niece's house by late afternoon. 🤞

Tootie, I know you will pick a good dinner spot for anniversary ..... cheers to all of us on 4th!  We will spend night at ND so I'm looking forward to that and dinner there.

Glad DH agreed so trip home is not as long.

kittyfan, nice that you have a good relationship with DW of DB too.  I just laugh at reference to the Daryls...😂...Daryls meet DB...HA!  

Kentucky Derby is Saturday.  Should I pack a hat? 🤣 Remember our fun days with hats, Derby and Mint Juleps?

Hi there.....UB time for me too before fixing dinner!  Such a busy day I need my medicine! 🍷😉 I did take a UB  after lunch also.  I am 50% packed....hanging clothes in car...need to finish suitcase and zip it up.  Hard to know what to take with weather.  I think it is going to be chilly with some rain.

Thanks for good travel wishes, Tootie, and birthday wishes for my DB.  80 year old brother? Yikes!  I'll be thinking of you on Monday.  Where do the years go....much to be thankful for everyday.....even though DH gets on my last nerve sometimes. 😂

We will be home Tuesday.  But, I should be able to keep in touch when I am at the hotel.  Stay tuned for more adventures of Lucy and Desi! 😆🚗

kittyfan, any good news on A/C?  Scary thing is the Daryls may be the installers or fixers....😵‍💫....will wait on your SO report.

Oh special good wishes all around. So many events to celebrate.  

Lucy and desi hit the road at 6.  Early early

Well brother spent the day at the 🏠. I saw him on camera a few times. He was buzzing around here and there. Said the neighbor came over for a chat--the good neighbor.  He called me and said he didn't get home under 8. I saw the vehicle was gone earlier but I know him.  His DW and I talk about his numerous stops along the way.  He doesn't do straight lines!  

Well the latest on my AC is they didn't come as promised. I told brother the events of the day.  They had planned to go home tomorrow but they are predicting weather in waves. Saturday should be nice. Since he will still be in town he will be by here. We have a few things to take care of and I am sure he will be making a personal visit to the head of maintenance who assured him someone would come today.    Since he had his iron boost he is ready to rattle 🪇 things up.

Oh boy kittyfan, I would not want to be the one that DB talks to ... I can only imagine the conversation and I would bet that you have a new A/C very soon ... it's kind of sad that the SO has not been very willing to help you out, but I think things will soon change 😉 ... 🤞that things go well!

Hello friends......🚗 we made it!  Half day dry and second half rainy...ugh. About 8 hours by the time we got to hotel.   Day One....Lucy and Desi still speaking..ha!

My brother was very surprised to see us.  DH disguised himself as a pizza delivery guy....dark hat, dark sunglasses ...pretty funny...DB thought he looked like DH but 

unsure....DB took pizza boxes and then was about to shut the door.  Then my niece said...would you like to come in for a drink...🤣.  DB thought...why are you inviting him in?  Then I appeared too....fun evening.  We are tired...ready to call it a night.  Busy day tomorrow too....niece's MIL is having ladies over for lunch.  Guys might go to the Football Hall of Fame and/or get a hot dog for lunch.  Later dinner for my DB's birthday.  

More tomorrow....Happy May Day!  💐 Happy May!
