Brother said he would be over to check on the AC. He called me about 8. He had been dealing with issues at the condo.  He said he will come tomorrow on his way to the house. He left his calendar there last week. He does use his phone but he has so many balls he juggles.

DB certainly does have a lot of balls to juggle, kittyfan ... I think you are probably having some warm weather so I hope that SO (really DB 😉😄) can get the A/C fixed ...

Hello friends!  Back again....I am really tired so it will be lights out early tonight.  We left later than usual because DH always finds one more thing to do...usually on the lawn..🙄😆.  

We had a fun time, as always, there but it was all men on deck doing something.  Lakehouse took a lot of hail damage ... garage door and siding on front of house (on west side so took brunt of storm)....screens ripped...amazing windows did not break.  DS had an insurance adjuster out on Friday.  He marked all the spots...including roof damage and DIL noticed they marked the grill ...ha...she said ..."we'll get a new grill"..😆...although it didn't look too bad..dings everywhere.  Neighbor showed us a picture of hail the size of baseballs...😳.

DS was replacing screens in windows so DIL and I cleaned windows while he did that.  Then we cleaned deck furniture.  3A's were busy too helping.  It looked like a 3-alarm fire of activity.  Later we went out to dinner on Saturday.  Friday is always pizza from nearby place that has the best pizza!!

This morning (3A's 17th birthday) it was up and at 'em to do the shakedown for departure....DIL fixed nice breakfast..off to church....back to pack up.  They left ahead of us since DH had his extra yard work to do..ha.

OK...enough on me....need to rest and recharge to leave again next Friday.  Tootie, my DB thinks he is coming in for grandson's confirmation (he is).  But, he does not know a special dinner is planned for Saturday.  We are the surprise as he does not expect us..just his immediate family.  We will surprise him Friday night.

All for now....glad you are both ok and keeping our kitchen open..😉☕️.  Hope your DB gets the A/C problem fixed there, kittyfan.

Walker:  baseball size hail can certainly do damage!   Happy BD to the boys and what a fun surprise for your brother

Brother spent almost all day at 🏠.  More things he noticed. He will need to get the garage door repaired vspring broke.  That is not a you tube job!  I had a long conversation with his DW. I told brother not to bring food just check my AC. He finally arrives with food and some other gadget he thought I needed. He did do a routine job for me.  Decided my AC was dead--i tried to tell him that.  I cancelled Drs apt for tomorrow. We are dr shopping. Will go another route. They both have appointments they need to complete and will head home at the end of the week.

Welcome home walker!! it sounds like you had a busy and fun weekend ... my gosh, baseball size hail? I can only imagine the damage ... Happy Birthday Wishes to the 3A's 🎂🎂🎂 17 already?? time flies (they were close to LS's age when we first "met") ... and now you'll have another fun weekend coming up, what a nice surprise for your DB!! ... try to take a couple UB's today to get yourself ready for that!

I see a new A/C unit in your future kittyan!! at least I hope so ... lol at DB, he wanted to make sure for himself that it was dead ... those darn garage door springs are brutal ... we had one snap on us once, luckily we had just gone into the house ... that spring left a huge gouge in the garage wall ... ugh, you've got a tough job hunting down a new doctor ... good luck!

Sunny and 72 today 😎 ... grocery shopping and then back home to my Moanday Monday chores ...

Happy Monday!  Good to be back having coffee with you.

Inside day for me doing laundry and trying to organize my plans for week/weekend ahead.  I will definitely get a UB today!  

Isn't our friendship amazing, Tootie?  Years have flown in more ways than one.  Very special friendship here with three of us and always remembering fun with cookie as well...and others who have come and gone.  On we go....on the roller coaster of life. 😉

kittyfan, I had to chuckle on DB bringing you a gadget he thought you needed...😂.  Guys are funny....thought that counts, eh?  Now....bring in a new A/C unit!

My garage door is repaired. I watched the young man on camera. Brother found him somewhere. He has a talent for that.  He tells me he looks for a deal because he is cheap!   I tell him his DW will squeeze every dollar.  H

She  isn't bothered to spend hours on the phone getting the very best price for a service.  I have seen her in action  questioning charges for a service.

Well my AC saga continues. I made a maintenance request.  They were here in 15 minutes. When he walked in the door he said it was hot in here. Well brother and I refer to the maintenance staff as the Daryl's. If you remember the BobNewhart show that is where this reference comes from.  The fella who helped him when I came left and I am not fond of the head of the crew.  He had a major attitude last time he came in.  Well they replaced a part and said I would need a Professional for the repair. That was not news to me. They did put a window unit in the bedroom. It has helped a lot .  The head honco was out today so they couldn't proceed. Micro management seems to be the standard operating procedure around here. 

While brother was at the 🏠 he had pest control coming for service and had to deal with the security system.  He had a

The blue screen of death.  I haven't talked to him again but I know he left the house 🏠.

I know he has lots of balls juggling. 

You ladies have quite the history. Sharing lots of milestones and joy and sharing life losses as well.

ugh kittyfan, I really wish that the Daryl's would just get you a new A/C ... and you certainly don't need the smart comments when they come in ... they sound like quite the crew!! ... glad they gave you a bedroom one to get some relief.

walker, I always say that I am so glad that I checked out this blog so long ago ... and I never looked back! ... we all have a wonderful relationship!! 

Since it was so nice yesterday I decided to get some of my outdoor "knick knacks" out and put them in the garden ... I have a ton of brown-eyed susans coming up in the back garden ... I love those flowers!! and they are very hardy so not a lot of maintenance!! ...

Happy Tuesday!  A bit chilly here...almost looks like a Fall morning...cloudy and breezy.  

Maintenance, maintenance at one place or another, kittyfan.  DB gets things done at house and you get Daryl..😂.  Good thing they brought you a room A/C unit for bedroom.  Hope a NEW unit is next!

Enjoy those black-eyed susan's, Tootie.  We tried transplanting some from a neighbor a year ago.  They never came up...😟.  But, our hostas are taking over.

Yesterday I read an article in paper by a sleep expert.  We all deal with those occasional nights being awake.  He said do not get up to go to bathroom unless you really have to go...🫤.  AND, if you cannot get back to sleep...do the 4-7-8 sleep trick.....breathe in for 4 seconds....hold in for 7 and slowly breathe out for 8....back to sleep.   Hmmmm....we'll see on that one.  I did try it last night and did not stay awake.....maybe just a lucky night.

OK, that's my tip for today.....gotta go....things to do like enjoy another cup of coffee.  😆

Good evening

Interesting sleep help.  I have found that I sleep very little. I go to bed and wake up early.  If I get up I simply stay up.  I was up very early this morning. 

Had my visit from Daryl.  Not sure what he did but not much.  Argh. I know brother will step in when he feels it is necessary,  

We had hot and humid today,  glad to have some air circulation
