Good morning friends ... we're supposed to have a snowy, rainy kind of day ... (too dark to tell now 😩 but I don't hear it 😄) ... yesterday I was able to open up my windows for a little while as it made it up to 56 ... no sun but fresh air.

No plans ... Shout out to walker and kittyfan ... 👋👋 ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Onto new day...another year older but doing well...thankful.  I had a nice birthday...relaxing and fun.  The play last night was very good....great music....dinner after good too...fun with friends.  

No other news.....need to get going....church in church today so better have some breakfast.

Hi kittyfan 👋... hope all is well.

Not much going on here ... decided yesterday to go through my "pantry" in the basement ... I have a small room with shelving for extra food, bottled water, baking pans, etc ... I ended up ordering a new shelving unit ... the old metal one has seen better days ... so now I can put the "going through" on hold 😉 and wait until the new one comes in and then rearrange!!

A cold 39 degree day here with winds ... for some reason, the leaves on the tree in front of my house do not want to come off!! and it was really windy yesterday ... maybe today will be the day!!

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️🌤️🇺🇸...🦃

Happy Monday!  There was such a pretty sunrise 🌅 this morning when I looked out.  I love seeing them as well as sunsets.

Tootie, when I grew up we had a pantry in our basement.  It was a walk-in so I played store...ha....fun memories. I used to play school in the basement too.  My dad put up a small chalkboard for my imaginary class and I set up my desk, etc.  Fun on rainy days or boring days...my brother had other side of basement for his model train on top of ping-pong table.

Before I forget, I will be on later tomorrow.  I am spending night at DD's house.  She and SIL will be out of town.  DD said she knows they will be fine overnight but feels better if I can go over.  No problem....get to see the kids.  They take care of themselves..easy job.

Good morning

Of what a lovely event. Always enhanced by good friends

Yesterday I went to church here. We now have two retired clergy that live on my hall.  It is nice to have that flow even though it is non denominatiol. Arrived home and caught the end of Sunday school at brothers church. He had texted me several times on Saturday said he was not feeling well and was taking it easy. Brother arrives at my door.  He is exhausted but he took care of the task at hand. He took some items that will go to my house. I told him to stop at the mailroom to pick up a pkg going there. He comes back with food. He put a shelf up for the nanny cam!  Couldn't get the camera to function as he thought it should. I think it was probably because he was so tired.  I am fine with the camera. It is a way for him to check in. 

I expected maintenance this morning. Learned Wednesday. Oh hurry up and wait. But it is ready. Not very convenient for me but he has pushed them to get this done. 

When he left I walked out with him.  🦟 Buzzing. We said our goodbyes. He is flying out today.  They will all be back for Thanksgiving. He was discussing his menu. He is a fabulous chef

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, I don't think that DB knows the meaning of taking it easy, laying low or just relaxing ... it's just not in his bones!! he has to keep going 🐇... I bet his Thanksgiving meal will be delicous!! ... hope tomorrow your counter finally gets done ... waiting is tough to do!!

Happy Tuesday!  It is a bit rainy here this morning.  I am off duty now...😉.  Easy job....kids take care of themselves really.  DH said I am like a hall monitor in a dormitory..haha!   I enjoyed time with them.  GS had early basketball practice before school.  He left before 6AM! 😳

Then I took GD to school.  SIL will be back this afternoon and DD tomorrow.

Now I need to shower up and head to a dermatologist appointment.   Oh joy!  Hope there are no suspicious skin spots.  I am so prone to them.

Hello friends ... taking a UB while I wait for the buzzer of the dryer ... and we do have sunshine today 😎 ... my excitement of the day was watching the town pick up our leaves (it's the little things 😉) 🍁🍂 😄😂 ... in our town they use a big truck with a huge hose (like a vacuum cleaner) to s uck up all the leaves ... DH had raked most of the leaves to the curb but we are still waiting for more to fall off the tree in front ... 

I hope all went well with your appointment walker ... yikes! heading to school before 6am!! he must enjoy his basketball ...

Hey, Tootie....UB time for me too after busy morning.  My check-up went good...I passed!  Free for six months....I skipped out of there!  In past, I haven't been so lucky.  

Weather here is misty and miserable...glad I am home now.  Good day for soup...trying a Lasagna Soup recipe that I have....saw one posted here as well that is similar.

We have the same leaf-picker-upper service here, Tootie.  DH has some leaves on curb waiting....we never know when truck will come by.  I wish they would give us a schedule like garbage pickup.  We still have some waiting to fall too.

GS said that basketball practice had to be early this week as girls were using gym after school for basketball tournament.  I guess he goes back to after school next week.  Then GD told me she is training for soccer in spring and they have practice twice a week at 6:30AM.  Yikes!  Then a day of school and after school she has gymnastics...MAMA MIA....too much for me.  I said "how do you do it?"....MUST BE YOUTH!  Sounds awful to grandma.
