Good morning friends ... kittyfan, it must have been a chilly and windy day for you to turn your heat on ... stay warm!!

walker, laughed at your idea of getting exercise in the house 😄😂 ... pre-hibernation is right!! ... we got about 2 inches of snow overnight and the weatherman says it will snow on and off throughout the day ... we still have leaves on the trees that are falling off with the snow! ... do we rake or shovel?? 😉😂 ... any plans for your big day coming up??

Happy Tuesday!  Nice greeting, Tootie.  We will be going out for breakfast with friends.....free for Veterans...👍.

It is so nice that many places offer free meals, coffee, doughnuts, car washes, etc.  I'll let DH decide what else he wants to do.

I know what you mean about leaves falling in snow, Tootie.

It looks so funny.....snow with leaves on top!  Ha!  

Stay warm, kittyfan....we are used to layering up and heating up house....sign of more to come.

My mother had seven brothers. Six of them served in WW2.  There was a picture of the brothers and my dad in their uniforms in front oh my grandparents home. Loved that pic.

I started out with a call from brother. He was flying this way.  Then I talked to his DW for an hour.   They put up their 🎄🎄. They have very high v

Ceilings and a very tall tree.   

Brother called me this evening. He has plans for holiday decor at my house!  

My nephew spent 8 yrs in the marines. He celebrated the marine BD yesterday. Once a marine always a marine!

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, oh wow! Christmas decorations ... can't wait to hear all about that!! ... time is flying by, only a couple of weeks until Thanksgiving and then the mad rush is on!!

walker, it is very nice that so many places do special things for the Veterans (they do that here too!!) ... hope you had a good breakfast ... 

It snowed most of the day yesterday and ended up with another couple of inches ... this morning most of it is gone and it is raining ... and the leaves are still falling!

No cooking for me tonight ... the company that did our bathroom remodel is having a Thanksgiving Dinner for their customers ... never heard of this before but should be nice ... it's right at their business!

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️⛅️🇺🇸....🦃

Happy Wednesday!  🥱🥱....I need an extra-large coffee this morning.  I woke up at 4:00 and had little sleep after...finally up at 6:00.  Some nights are good and some not so good.  Not sure I will get my UB today either.  I am meeting a couple of friends for a late lunch.  Wah...wah...wah...enough...I'll catch up...all winter to hibernate.

We enjoyed our breakfast out yesterday.  I though DH wanted to go out later for an early dinner but decided not to go out. His day...his choice...leftovers it was. Yes, so nice that veterans are being shown such appreciation now.  kittyfan, how wonderful in your family ...  six uncles in WWII...wow...that would be an impressive picture with your dad too.  

I'm not ready for Christmas decorations yet in fact wondering how much I will do.  We may head to FL for Christmas.....we'll see.  First...🦃 Thanksgiving!  😋 

Tootie, what great customer appreciation and public relations there from remodel business.  Unheard of today but terrific.  I wonder if that company would travel here for a bathroom job!  HA!  Enjoy that special dinner!

I do understand the sleep issues.

Portions are too large. Brother and I often split. He is in town. Spent today at my house. Called me no power. I did get a text from power Co but called. They were working on it. Off about 30 min but with all the electronics  had to reset and check.

We had a delicious Turkey Dinner last night with all the trimmings at the contractors business ... a food table and then others for eating in the showroom ... we met other people that had work done and chatted with the crew that did our bathroom ... it was a fun night! 

We'll have a mild and sunny day ... high of 45! ... grocery shopping today, I didn't go out when the weather was so miserable earlier this week ...

Tootie, your evening sounded like such fun with a good meal too.  What a nice idea by that company.  Better Business Bureau should rank them A+++++++++!  👍

Yes, I like horseradish too....a little goes a long way..ha!

I will be heading to store this morning as well...NOT the bad store though.  Might spend more at my special meat/fish store but at least people are friendly and service is good.

Tootie what a great event. Good customer relations. 

Started out my day with brothers DW helping me with my camera issues. Then brother called he was coming to pick me up.  I was sunning on the sidewalk when he drove up.  He was a bit sad. He has been a long term customer of an alterations lady. More than 20 years. Today he found she had passed and someone took over her shop.  He knew she. Was ill and had visited her in the hospital.  Her family didn't think to notify him He has had a string of losses. We were heading to my house. He has washer issues at his house. Had it repaired just a few weeks ago.  Now down again.  He stopped to pick up lunch. Got to my house. Still some things to complete but of my everything was lovely.  He and his DW have exquisite taste. 

We ate lunch.  Then we puttered around. He came in and sat down and was yawning. I told him it was so peaceful he was relaxed. He brought me home. We took care of some matters one being paying a property tax. He said he planned to sleep in tomorrow. I told him i hoped he would. Talked about a haircut. He headed out

Tomorrow is dominos. I need my ear plugs in case chatty Cathy is there. She wears me out.
