Happy Wednesday!  Still cold..at 5 going to 16...no walk...☹️...but, better days to come.  

kittyfan, finally got your Reuben!  I like that sandwich too and sometimes make my own here.  Maybe next month I will....corned beef month...😉.

Both kids today, Tootie?  No school for BG?  Your day to go, go, go.   By the way, I think of you whenever I see a recipe for Velveeta...😁.

No news but my big outing today is to GS's basketball game later.

Good afternoon.

We had some record cold temps last night.  Brother called. As the crow flies we are very close. He said they had more weather.  We talked about the legal puzzle a bit.  I think I have pieces but need the attorney t sport it all out.  I have given brother full access to my life!  He needs to be aware of all the one and ours.

Well I was sitting here about 11 watching the news. Power goes out. I went to pack my bag and have brother come to rescue me. He didn't answer and I was getting ready to call his DW when the power came back on.  I am sure we will share a laugh. He has a plan in place that if there was an incident here I would go to the condo.  I have a key.  He will arrive as soon as he can.  This was a test!  SO has a history of losing power for multiple days. He is a planner and he is the best'.   When we talked this morning he realized there was a draft at patio.  Needed to order a draft dodger. Need one for me also.  I remember saying the heater has kicked on.  When I went out on the hall to access the situation my neighbor was out. Said his heart was out and had done a maintenance request.

Hopefully this is my excitement for the day.  Will leave my bag ready to roll.  Brother and his DW gifted me a small rolling bag the first Christmas. It was handy when I went to the hospital

Hello friends ... BG is off school for the whole week ... Winter Break ... wow were they both full of it today ... go, go, go and then the "play wrestling" that ended up a little too rough! ... LS is our little Drama Queen (I might have mentioned this before) ... she does not like be reprimanded at all!! ... her head goes down and she will either drop to the floor or hop on the couch, bury her head and cry ... it was a fun day but I am really glad that we don't have them both every week ... did I really just say that? 😲

walker, hope you enjoyed your big outing 😁 ... speaking of ... I have seen that WeatherTech commercial so many times lately and I always picture the SCC in that car ... 😂😂

kittyfan, glad that you're power wasn't off too long ... but it sounds like DB (of course) is on top of things and has a plan for everything!! ... I'm laughing at your last sentence of the second paragraph about your neighbor "said his HEART was out and had done a maintenance check." ... 😂😂

So dinner is over and the kitchen is cleaned up ... now it's time to hit the bottle 🍾🍷 cheers!!

Have a good night ... see you in the morning ... oh, our store had eggs on sale for $3.99/dozen (limit 2) ... not bad compared to what I've been reading in other areas.

Good Evening and Good Night.....just popped in for a minute...happy to read updates from both of you.  I'll be back in morning but, Tootie, I laugh everytime I see that commercial too...it is so us!!  SCC...YES!  Crazy!  Someone read our past stories (adventures) and made it into a commercial...ha!

I also had a little laugh over the heart remark, kittyfan..and maintenance....glad just heat.  

UB day for you tomorrow, Tootie!  Hollywood here comes LS, eh?  Nice to send them home, isn't it?  Love them..BUT..love to see them go home too!

GS team lost.....end of season...☹️. Fun to watch.

Winter break!  Yes I know you loved them but happy to send them home.  

Ahh end of season.  I know he enjoyed it.

We had a chuckle brother was downstairs when we talked first thing this morning. Ran to catch trash collection.  His phone was downstairs and out of joice. He had a number of missed calls.  You should have called DW. I was on the verge.  When he started searching for his phone he realized it was downstairs. He has a history of losing his phone and keys.  He left his phone at my house one evening. I called his DW to tell him to hear back and get the phone. I was waiting outside with his phone when I saw him roll up..we laughed about it.  Now when he is at my house getting ready to leave we do a phone and key check!

Happy Thursday!  I slept in a bit...hard to wake up...need coffee! 

Pretty funny about DB and his phone, kittyfan.  Good you can laugh about it.  Tootie is right...chain needed around his neck...ha!

No news overnight.....oh, GS will be playing baseball next...quite the athlete.  Games won't start until Spring though.  Then it seems like they go on and on and on...plus they take so long...have to sit at field for a few hours.  I like basketball...run, shoot, run, shoot...done! 😂

I am dealing with insurance company. I take some very expensive meds which are a special pharmacy. I need to get brother to help me fight this battle. We ran into issues when I first started the meds. 

He said his DW had done some updates on his computer. Couldn't find anything and not sure where his docs were printing. Tech support is in the house!
