Hi there......just talked to DS....he said rain is heavier there now and winds picking up. Tornadoes to worry about as well.   I know he is concerned but has done everything he can to prepare.  Big problem getting their two dogs out to the bathroom.  Such a beautiful day here too....two extremes!  🥴

I also have been watching the weather. Prayers

Yesterday started off at 7:30. Brother picked me up o head for lab.  I was in and out. Found  hin in he snack area geting hot chocolate.  Called Drs office to see if could come in earlier.  Decided to stop for bakery.  We split he orders and chatted. Phone rings yes come in.  Only a litle jaunt. Large medical building but they have valet parking which is most helpful.  Got to office and completed testing. Then to bank oget new debit card. In and out. Then next call to next appointment. Can we come early. Yes. We arrived it was lunch time and reception was puzzled but we were able to be seen. Next brother needed some dollar tree purchases. Next stop a bite to eat. He needed gas.  Off to preferred station.  Almost back cable called they were at house.  Zoomed right past the turn. Lots of turns. Arrive to meet installer. I stayed in vehicle but I could see where sheetrock had been taken out and linen close taken out.  Brothers wife called and we chatted. Headed back to town. Brothers wife not feeling well and he needed to take her soup.  Dashed into store to pick up a few items. Came our with two bags only part for me.  He loves shopping!!!  Took me home. Brought in my items, made sure I could open that impossible packaging. Grabbed my Amazon for his GS. I had looked at this item. Put it in later and it was a my door!   It was a cute throw.  He said the grands will trade off. Then the dog will  take it and  add it to her stash!  

Talked with him earlier. He had been back to my house.  He is a tough customer. Had a trusted contractor supervising project. He will be meeting with him tomorrow.  Several trees need to be taken down. Others too close to foundation need to be removed.  Pines need to be trimmed up.   Shooting for Christmas completion. In my mind lots to do

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, you are living up to your name again ... BuzyBee! 😁 lots of go, go, go ... it sounds like things are moving along with your house ... good news on getting to get in earlier for your appointments ...

walker, hope things are ok with DS/family ... no tea parties yet with LS but we did some singing and dancing 😂 ... we had a program on that played A LOT of ABC and Counting songs ... and no way was I able to watch ... she would say "come on! dance with me" ... Mimi can't move like she used to 😕😂 ... and (I thought of you) she gathered her little animals and played school with them 😄 ... it's so fun to watch/listen to her conversation.

We'll have a sunny but cool 55 degree day ... tomorrow is garbage day so we have to haul out all the "stuff" we cleaned out from our shed ...

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️🌤️🇺🇸....🙏

Happy Thursday!  Happy for me....DS and family made it through the night.....lots of wind damage...fence panels down, tree branches down but they DO HAVE POWER!  Hope that stays! DS was waiting on daylight to assess more damage but overall we are all THANKFUL!  Prayers for those not so lucky...OMG...damage and clean-up...so many without power.

Tootie, I laughed at your story with LS yesterday....dance, dance, dance...😂....WHOA....Mimi needs rest! Ha!  And, how cute about playing school with her animals!  By the way, I forgot until you mentioned our Busy Bee today.....I used to play school with GS and GD and I was named...Mrs. BUSY-BEE....😆.

kittyfan, your house project is huge!!!  I'm assuming you will not move back?  Sell?  None of my business! Ha!

Also, you mentioned those "hard to open" packages..isn't that the truth!!!  That and seals on food items too...ugh!

Still birthday time for kittyfan.  Hope you have had a happy day!  🥳

DH and I started cleaning off deck today.  I am getting too old for this...🥴.  We have covers over some furniture with cushions.  I cleaned covers...sunny day to leave them out to dry....DH vacuumed cushions...all are in basement now for winter storage.  We will have whole deck packed up...grill too....😟...by end of month.  

Finally purchased a few ghosts to hang from my porch hooks for Halloween.  They are like wind-socks...just blow around.  Guess they are ok.  Who cares...short season..ha!

tHank you all so much for your sweet BD wishes.

Brother called me last night to sat we would go to lunch.

This morning changed to late afternoon.  He picked me up and we met his DW.  Had a great meal.  Went back to their condo to visit   gave me some lovely gifts.   Brother was searching for his keys. This seems to be a pattern when we are together!  He took me home. I had made an Amazon purchase for his GS but didn't think about it. I keep his pkgs on a special spot.  He spotted something and pounced on it.  I told him it was for his GS not me!  He told me he checks on my  Amazon!  I have left things in my cart and find they moved!  He has access to my Amazon and my bank accounts. I know he takes good care of things and he will tell me when he writes checks. Since he is handling my house remodel he has to have full access.  I doubt I will return. Too isolated.  He is close when he is in town when he is at his other house he can catch a flight and be here quickly.  He has never complained when I ask him for help, shopping, Drs apts etc.   Living in my house I didn't have a safety net.  I am of the age where I have to consider such things 

I got up to a card under my door from a sweet lady. Her BD is next week.  She said she liked me for a reason.  My sweet Kristen from the cafe is turning 35 next week.  Sweet lady. I don't remember turning this milestone. 

Tootie and Walker:    that is a project to "pickle" things for the season.  Ghosts sound cute.  

Coffee pot ready for the early risers. 

K:  kitchen sink.  I liked using the sink under the window to look out.  Apparently the trend is not to have them at the window I did see drawings of changes.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, it sounds like you had a nice birthday! ... I laughed at DB pouncing on the Amazon gift 😂 nothing is going to get past him!! ... I enjoy looking out the window at the sink too!! but remodeling ideas nowadays have really changed things around ...

walker, "pickling" (good one kittyfan) away our outdoor things is quite a hassle ... we leave our patio chairs and glider out, they are Adirondock furniture and too heavy to be moved back and forth ... smaller tables, hose reel and grill all need to be put away yet and in order to fit in the shed out comes the snowblower!! 🥶

Thanks for the birthday wishes for DD ... we went to a new restaurant for breakfast and boy was it good!! delicious food ... but no Mimosas!! now we have to try them out for lunch and/or dinner ... I have a baby shower to go to this afternoon, my niece is due in December ... I haven't been to one in a long while so I'm interested to see how they have changed.
