Happy Saturday!  Went out  to put flag up this morning and found two of my ghosts flew away! Ha!  They didn't go far....one on porch and one in bushes.  DH said he will secure them better this morning.  Oh...the tricks of Halloween and ghosts!  😆

kittyfan, glad you had a nice birthday.  Interesting about house remodel and changes today.  I would miss not having a window to look out at kitchen sink.  I spend a lot of time in the kitchen!  Maybe this is a sign that people don't spend time there...ha.  On the go...eat out all the time. 🤷‍♀️ 

Tootie, glad too that you had nice time celebrating DD's birthday.  I haven't been to any showers in a long time either.  I always say bridal showers are "ooooooo...nice" and baby showers are "awwwww...cute".  

I should not have moaned and groaned about work to clean-up/pack-up outdoor things.  So many people in south don't know where to begin cleaning up or lost it all.

By the way, Tootie, the Adirondock furniture is really nice.

Some of our things stay out too.  Kids surprised us one year with the extra furniture.  It is very nice but needs to be in an enclosed porch.  

Babbling away....guess I'll look at paper and then make breakfast....pancakes today!

Good morning friends ... the baby shower was very nice but way too long ... started at noon and we didn't get out until almost 5!! ... although it was nice to see everyone, there was a big lag after we ate before she opened her gifts ... I shouldn't complain, maybe I'm getting too old!!? ... my niece got a lot of the gifts she had on her registry for her baby boy ... the only "game" was there were small baby pacifiers hidden around the room and whoever found the most got a prize!! DD won that and got a bag of spa items ... the food was good and they had Mimosas!! 😄

We're in for a couple days of rain ... tomorrow LG is off from school so we're going to watch both of them ...

No other news from me ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Running late this morning so moving along.  Might go to church mid-morning unless I can talk DH into later Mass.

No news in my world but next weekend is apple picking time for us.  Looking forward to that! 🍎

Hello again......well never made it out to Mass....DH chose church on the couch.  Then took a walk....trees are changing colors more everyday!  Have you noticed that, Tootie?  Enjoy every sunny day we get!  Going to bake cookies this afternoon.   First.....UB....ha!

Good afternoon 

Oh seasons changing.  We don't have much lovely colors. 

Brother popped in last evening with my food items.  Not only does he shop he puts everything away!   Of course I have to find things 

Tootie:  oh how nice your DD got the prize.

Walker:  you are Cookie Queen.  

Brother met with contractor yesterday.  Wow so many changes.  I am curious to see everything.  

I have a lab apt tomorrow. Meds monitoring. Brother scheduled to return to home base Tuesday. 

When he was here yesterday he hung a lovely wall piece they had gifted me for my BD.  

We had discussed a survey for the property. I told him we did a fence line on one side. I told him he company name. He said he saw them when we were cruising the town.  

So many things to consider. I keep seeing dollar signs. We had a budget. A few extras.  But he said he watched too much HGTV to know there won't be surprises.

Good morning friends ... walker, I did notice the trees are more colorful and some around here are dropping their leaves too!! but not so fast trees, we know what comes next!

kittyfan, so DB does the shopping and puts away?!! lucky you, he's a man of many, many, many hats!! 😊 ... I laughed at his comment about watching too much HGTV 😂 I like that station too and you can get some great ideas!! (apparently he has!) ... I bet your house will look totally different to you!

Went to the grocery store yesterday (I don't usually like to go on a Sunday because it is always crowded ... and it was!) ... I got a little ticked off because there were 2 boys about 12 years old (one riding in the cart and the other one pushing) racing up and down the aisles yelling ... (I met them in just about every aisle) so, I was "that" person that went up to a manager and told him ... he did chase them out of the store ... I know they're kids and they were probably bored because it was a raining day but find something else to do!

Another rainy and damp day here again ... no going out with the kids today ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

It is mid-40's here now but we will see 50's & 60's this week.....time to change out my closet!  Summer behind us!  🥴

Hello friends ... plans changed, no kids today ... DS said they both were under the weather so he would keep them home with him ... I guess it's the time of year when "things" start going around ... so I had a ho-hum Moanday Monday (thank you cookie ❤ miss you!) for myself ...

Good evening

Last night I had just gone to bed and heard a crash.  The wall piece dB has put up came down.  He picked me up early to go todrsoffice for lab. Numbers high. 

Then he needed to go to PO  to mail something. Locked up tight with no mail box in sight.  Then dropped by his church. Issue with AC. Then to main PO to mail.  Finally stopped for breakfast.  Took me home. Off to pick up dog at vet and take DW to Drs apt.

I took a quick nap.  Then PT.  

Holly is limping around. Will see if she is ok in the morning. 

Tap on door DB arrives with his handy drill.  Hangs the piece up. We sat and talked about  growing up.  Never knew how he met us DW!   

Walked him down. He discovered an Amazon pkg. Apparently just dropped off and not brought inside. Of course his first thought was it was mine. I assured him nope!  He has a link to my account and knows what I have been considering!

Tomorrow is flu/Covid here. 

Saw severeal people moving out. Come and go.  Lots of new faces. Missing some familiar ones. 

Drs office called. Adjust meds. Repeat test. Fortunately a ****** and results almost immediate. 

Brother may wait until Wednesday to head back.  Then off on a business trek. Always on the go!

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, yikes! your DB is always on the move!! I bet he doesn't take many UB's 😂 ... hope your adjusted meds work out for you ... are you planning on getting the flu/covid shots at once? ... around here our PO has several boxes in front of the place and we have some sporadically on different neighborhood corners and in front of shopping plazas ... it's convenient or at least it was, now someone(s) have been breaking into the boxes and taking the mail looking for checks/cash/gift cards ... we don't have much to mail anymore but when we do, we go right into the PO and they have a box inside.

walker, you're right, bye bye summer 😕 ... I had to dig out my fleece yesterday ... I'll have to get my warmer clothes out too!! ...

We'll have another rainy, cold and damp day ... high of 49! ... it might be a good day to get those clothes out!! 😒
