Happy Wednesday!  We had an all-day-rain yesterday.  We really needed it!  Back to some sunshine today...👏.

kittyfan, Jake and Holly are the Goodwill Ambassadors at SO!  Pets are good for people.  I always smile when I see cute ones or ones like we used to have....black labradors.

Cats are nice but I've always been a dog person. 

Cats make me think of cookie...😟...and her Molly.  You are missed.

Have a fun day with LS, Tootie.  Cute that she loves her aunt and "calls" her often...😉.

We went to GD's volleyball game yesterday but did not bring any luck....they lost...oh well...move on to next event.

No plans today....maybe store.....I'll see how the spirit moves me after breakfast.  😁

Goid evening

I started out my day with a trip I the lab. Brother had arranged a service to take me.  But not before multiple calls to vendor.  When he picked me up snapped my pic to send to brother. Said  "your brother is something else".  I said he was the best. Lab was a circus. My log in didn't work. I finally went to counter I have been there at least monthly for the last year. T ch had difficulty. Both arms!  Got home

Called brother to say I was home. He replied he knew. Apparently here were multiple pics!  

When I was in he lobby learned one of the residents had passed on.  She just turned 103 last month.  Always had her hair styled and dressed to the nines. I think Queen Mum and this lady probably were similar. She always attended church.  I didn't see her on Sunday. She passed on Monday. 

My TV lost sound again.  Brother couldn't remember what he did to get it to work.  My reply was everything but stand on his head. He asked the concierge to look at it.  She is a whiz.  I t old her I was leaving but dogs loved her so toI go in at her convenience.  She had no luck. Dogs spa was to come tomorrow but rescheduled.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, ugh! it's so annoying with these "sign ins" that they have at doctors/labs offices ... most of the time they don't work so why have them?? ... and then to be a pin cushion??!! I've had that happen when they were "training" someone ... I know they have to learn, but not on me!! 😂 ... laughing at DB having the driver take a picture of you!! ... you've had so much trouble with your TV, I wonder why you keep losing sound??

walker, glad you were able to get to your GD's game but brought them no luck ... maybe next time 😁 ... I've been watching the news about hurricane ... is your DS/family OK?

We had a good day yesterday ... LS was very excited when her "visitor" showed up and we were able to get out in the yard for a little while ... all was good!!

We'll have a cloudy 75 degree day but we may see some sun later this afternoon ...

Happy Thursday!  Running a little behind here today so I'll be short ....haha...sure, sure! 😆

kittyfan, your DB is amazing.  He has you taken care of even when he is not there!  Pretty funny how driver took the pictures to report back.  Hope TV is working fine again.

Sad about 103 year old resident passing.  She did sound like my QM....miss her still.

Tootie, glad you had a good day with LS....bet she was excited to see her favorite aunt!  

Thanks for thinking of DS in FL.  Fortunately, he lives in the center of state near Orlando.  I think the hurricane is directed at the Panhandle area.  We have friends with a home there so I am concerned for them.  DS expects some wind and rain but nothing bad.  Had to laugh....he said schools are closed today.  DIL is a teacher and going with a group of friends to Disney World for the day.  I said...glad she is taking shelter with Mickey Mouse! Ha!

No news ....moving along in the slow lane here...😂....have a nice day everyone.

Oh Tootie a special visitor. How sweet 

Walker:  glad your family is ok. 

My day started out with a text from brother.  Concerned about my legs swelling.  Then call from DR.s office. Had telemed.  Blood tests  were not good.  New meds. Called two pharmacy trying to find it.  Called brother. He took the reins.  Had to order meds but found them. Next call to Drs office to schedule apt.  Nurse will call you-- she did and was wonderful.  Scheduled an apt for next week.  Brother will be here. 

Had PT. Knees very swollen. Not sure if it is related. 

Did laundry. Will put away tomorrow 

Dogs spa is tomorrow afternoon.  Need to remember he special shampoo from the vet.

I called to brother so I am thinking of calling it a wrap.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, sorry to hear that you are having more medical issues ... had to laugh at brother "took the reins" ... of course he did!! DB to the rescue!! 😁 ... oh the pups will be so excited to have their pampering today!!

walker, glad your DS should be ok with this storm ... your DIL found a good spot to take shelter 😂 ... I have the news on and I can't imagine going through that!! ...

We finished cleaning up the back garden yesterday ... all flowers are gone from there and I put a couple of pumpkins back there ... I have metal ones that stick in the ground ... I like those because they are easy to store ...

We'll have a sunny 77 degree day ... I'm planning on getting my haircut today but have to check and see if my girl is going to be there ...

Happy Friday?!  I know it is not happy for some dealing with the horrible storm and aftermath of it in the south.  I need to check on those I know in FL and one in Atlanta...just saw terrible flooding there.  Oh my!  Now Carolinas too...friends there as well...yikes.  

Another concern....kittyfan....sorry to hear about this recent problem with legs swelling.  I hope new meds help.

Tootie, sounds like all is ok in your world....mine too.  Pumpkin decorations sound nice to look at for Fall.  I usually think of decorating the front but I look out in backyard mostly!  Good thing the pumpkin decorations are metal.....otherwise those friendly squirrels might chew on the real thing!

I got my latest meds. Brother took over when I hit the wall.  I was able to get apt with specialist. I was a patient but apts are hard to get.  Explained all to nurse who was wonderful.  An apt opened up.  Brother will take me. He and wife are all patients

walker, I'm watching the news now ... what a heartbreaking mess that storm is ... hope your family/friends are ok ... you're right about the squirrels getting into real pumpkins ... they got into some of mine a couple of years back and made a big mess trying to get the seeds ...

Well I was able to get my haircut but she went a little "scissor crazy" (I think we were talking too much) and it's a lot shorter than normal ... oh well, it will grow and next time I'll pay more attention.

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️☁️🇺🇸

Happy Saturday!  We never saw the sun yesterday.  It was cloudy and windy.  It felt like hurricane weather moving north.  Hopefully, today will be calmer.

I did contact family and friends in south yesterday.  All are ok.  They were having floods, heavy rain and winds...tornado warnings too.  Big storm...mixed bag of weather....scary.  Fortunately, it was fast moving.

kittyfan, hope you have a restful weekend until you can get into doctors next week.  Hope meds are helping problem with legs.  As they say...keep on keeping on...whatever that means....haha.

Tootie, been there..done that too with haircuts....the stylist always wants to talk....nice but I notice then I walk out with shorter hair....talk, cut, talk, cut....🥴.  As you said, it will grow.  

All for now...not much happening here...see you later....have a nice day.  Hopped back on to change my emoji above...no sun here...cloudy...no complaints though...thankful I'm not dealing with floods and storm damage!  I'll take a quiet cloudy day!
