We are having thunder and lightning as I type but it is not supposed to last very long ... heavy rains, which we can use!

Still hot and humid but at least we are not into triple digits!

Stay in and Stay cool, kittyfan.  We had the rain last night as I went to bed, Tootie.  Guess it moved your way.  

I told DD that with all the rain we have had at least I have not had to worry about watering her garden.  But, pool duty continues.  DH took a swim the other day.  I was his lifeguard...😂.  Counting days until I am off duty!  They return Tuesday.

No news....laundry today and grocery store.  Hope you all have a good day.....especially you, cookie!  'Team cookie' rooting for you....😄(Nice C, Tootie)

thank you for missing me  I am a little better but am woozyandneck hurts..  Head is still feeling lighi headed.  I am staying home and relaxing with a HUGE UB today.  I fell asleep yesterday at 2 and when Iwoke upit was 5pmI thought it was AM and glad I could go to bed  -  No it was PM  I don't even now what day it is yet.

Happy Saturday!  Rain has moved on but heat and humidity remain here.  I have not been getting many walks in lately.  Just too warm and if I don't get out early, I won't!

cookie, I hope you have been seen by a doctor too. I know you said you were going for lab work recently.  Make sure you are drinking enough fluids.  Dehydration is not good!  Feel better SOON!  ((((😌))))

Heating up here. But it is August. Oh my--year is zipping along.

Oh pool maintenance. Lots to be done. 

Cookie:  waving from my corner of the world. 

I did laundry last night.  Put part of it away.  Spent the afternoon taking care of business on the computer. I think I need  a scribe. I make brother write checks for me but sometimes he isn't available. Two sets of eyes are better than just me.

The TS celebrated 10 years. They did a volunteer appreciation. It would have been nice to be invited as I was one of the originals even though I had to step down. Oh well .

Had some thunder boomers and rain earlier. 

Oh jalapenos wrapped in bacon. Yum. 

Yesterday had gone to dining room to pick up breakfast. Had a long conversation with the president of Hollys fan club!  Not sure how long he has been here but much longer than my tenure. Agreed with assessment that they need to be more selective. Too many inappropriate placements serious cognitive issues.  Need a different level of care. The management things numbers are good but they may lose good residents in he process. I am not fond of the director. Fitst impression negative. Off my soap box

Yesterday got email on Amazon delivery. I wasn't expecting anything. Clicked to see brother shopping. He has my account information.

I would think that SO would do a better assessment of residents as well ... and what are the families thinking that place them there too??! I would imagine (imo) that some just set them up there to let someone else take care of them ...
