Not a very good say for Sunday but it fits my feelings right now. 

I did not watch the Olympics - not my thing.  They should omit all the side shows!  Now news here - hot - 87 and muggy.  No plans.

walker, I did watch the Opening Ceremony ... but only for about 45 minutes ... I was not impressed at all!! ... heard about a "mockery" from DS and saw some clips online ... 😲😲 is all I can say (on here) ... I enjoy the gymnastics too, and the swimming ... how is your "pool duty" coming along?

My "cleaning out" things continued yesterday (as a result of cleaning the garage 😏) ... some things that I decided to put in the front closet, ended up with me saying, (again) why is this in here? why did I save this? ... so now I have another box of donations and a clean closet to go along with a clean garage ... honestly, the only reason this got done was because it has been too hot to sit or do anything outside ... 😁😂

Another day.....on we go...but, not so good for you, cookie, and maybe kittyfan too.  Cloud over TX?  Time to meet at SCC Court again....I'll take care of food and Tootie will cover drinks.....hmmmm...🤔....what should we have? 😂

Seriously, hope things get better ....time for a Golden Girls marathon, cookie?

Tootie, I heard about that mockery at the opening ceremonies too and am disgusted!  Guess I just saw boats and teams...good thing that was all. Who approves of such programming? 🙄 I'll leave it at that as well.  I will watch gymnastics...have to for GD....and I like swimming too.

I got through day one of pool duty.  Today we are suppose to have rain so I will delay opening it.  I guess if I can at least have it open for a few hours that is better than nothing.  It is a good thing I don't have to add the chemical treatments.....😳. 

Maybe hot weather is good for something, Tootie, clean and purge!  I might have a week like that ahead....you may inspire me.....ha!

Holly and Jake had a visit from their favorite. I heard her whine and she started to shake. Then I saw him coming up.  

I have been watching lots of Olympics. Gymnastics and even the horses.

I am not a fan of tattoos but one does see se many!

Talked brother. We hadn't talked since Thursday. Said he hadn't been feeling well.  I oldhim imr o take care of himself. He spends so much time doing for others. 

I did laundry yesterday. Still needs to be folded.

I am going to take a break for a few days.  I am very stressed and need to relax - my BP was high which is not normal at all for me. II will keep in touch if I can.  Thank you all for being such great friends.  Hope to chat later

Good morning friends ... cookie, sorry to hear that you are not doing well ... I hope you can shake off whatever is causing your stress and high BP ... try to relax, but most importantly, watch that BP and maybe get a call in to your doctor ... take care my friend and know that we are thinking of you ... sending hugs ((💚)) ... check back in when you can.

kittyfan, it sounds like you may be doing a little better?? ... cute story about the pups enjoying their visit ... I'm not a fan of tatoos either and it baffles my mind when I see them on faces!! ... DB may need to slow down some and get that battery recharged!! hope he is doing better.

walker, I'm curious, (since we never had a pool) does your DD's pool have to be uncovered and covered back up every day? ... I watched the gymnastics last night and thought of your GD ... kudos to her for doing that! I'm amazed at how those girls can flip on the bars ... and on those skinny beams!!

We'll have another humid 90 degree day ... DD is coming for dinner so I have boxes of her things (thanks to my cleaning out) that she can go through when she is here ... not sure what is on my agenda for today, but I'm sure I'll find something to do 😉

kittyfan, good to hear from you but sorry DB isn't feeling well.  He needs a break too, right?  Hope he feels better as I know he enjoys his visits with you.  In meantime, Jake and Holly keep you busy.

I have also been watching the gymnastics at the Olympics.  Also, saw a little swimming.  I find it amazing too how gymnasts do those routines.  I find it nerve-wracking watching GD.  Simone Biles did a terrific performance on the beam.....she does everything well....it takes a lot of hard work.

Pool duty was a challenge yesterday because of rain.  It needs to be opened, if possible, everyday and then closed later...especially on hot days.  I guess it gives the pool time to "breathe" keeping it clean or balanced with chemicals.  Not sure I understand it either.  I opened it yesterday thinking I had a few hours before rain.  My luck...when I went back it started to rain.....then it poured! Ugh!  Fortunately, the cover is electronic so I got it done quick.  More rain today so we will see.....taking DH over.  Lucy and Desi Pool Attendants...🙄😂.  We may get fired! Ha! 

I have to go get a blood test this morning for my check up next week...🤞.  So, better get going.  See you all later.

walker, thanks for explaining about the pool and I hope all is going well with your Pool Duty ...

Grocery shopping this morning and DD went through her things last night so I have an additional box to go to the Goodwill ... I'll drop those off when I go shopping as the donation truck is in the stores parking lot ... kids day tomorrow ...
