Tootie, sorry to hear about your DH having Covid.  I hope it will just be a mild case for him.  The medicine will work..probably Paxlovid (?).  DH and I were both put on it a year ago when we had Covid.  😝 Left a nasty taste in my mouth....was glad when I was done with it.  

cookie, what great memories of the Rose Parade that you have.  I asked my ex-SIL what they do with the floats after.  She said they leave them at a park nearby for several days.  It gives more people a chance to see them up close.  Good idea.

Lots of fireworks here. I heard the boomers beginning about 7. A few last night.

Oh no COVID. Take care. 

I wasnt feeling super yesterday. We did have black eyed peas and corned beef and cabbage here.  I did dinner to go. Settled in to watch football game.  At some point Holly was outside yelling. Jake went out. Finally got her in. Then finally Jake. I didn't see anything but my neighbor across the courtyard says there is a raccoon with two babies in the area. I fell asleep in my chair. Caught the end of the game. Off to bed. 

I was on the phone with brother. Holly was in the bedroom being the drama queen she is.  I told him not to worry she was just being a drama queen.

Had PT this morning. Knee was swollen. Not surprised. Really bothering me.

Hello friends ... kittyfan, I can just hear Holly yelling at the raccoons, nothing is going to get past her and then her brother has to get in the picture too!! ... hope you are feeling better and can get your knee issues under control ... that Shepherds pie sounds delicious!!

walker, that is the med that DH got ... he is very fatigued and has muscle pain ... took one dose so far and said that it tastes like metal ... yuck!! ... hopefully it kicks in soon for him.

kittyfan, sounds like you had a nice day including your little drama queen and her sidekick.  Cute story about those two and the Racoon with 2 babies.  Racoons are cute but carry rabies be careful.  Hope the PT helped your knee. 

Tootie, sorry about your DH and COVID.  Hope the meds work and he gets better soon.  What a mess - I heard that there is a new variant out and more masks  will be required. What a way to start the new year😣 

Eye doctor appointent went well. Go back in 4 months. Enjoyed GS taking me and we stopped for onion rings then home.  Eyes are good. Got a little rain.

Good morning~

At last, some good news for me!!!  Went to the doctor's and the first thing she said to me is that they are opening the other branch again!  I about fell on the floor!  Happy Happy Happy!!!  Now I can continue going there instead of 30+ miles.  Made my day!😊🥰  What a relief and what nice feelings again.  Next appointment is in May.  She gave me a big hug and was very happy for me.  Love her office ladies and medical assistants too!  GS is such a great young man💖💥.  He drove me all over and tomorrow we will pick up my car after my manicure/pedicure!  SS actually bought a car last night and now I don't have to worry about her using mine.  Sorry about the babbling, but a happy Cookie is a good thing💪

No news here so no babbling...ha!  Going to grocery store this morning for a few items.  I spent so much money on groceries in December that I am determined to spend much less this month.  Make a list of what I NEED and stick to it.
