Happy Sunny Saturday!  Coffee, friends and Jelly Doughnuts...😋...away we go.  Who thinks up these National days?  I read online that there was a Daughter Day and Son Day recently.  What??  Oh well, sorry to my daughter and sons....missed "your day"...🙄.

Really enjoyed our pizza get-together last night.  Friend and boys doing very well now.  Boys sure growing up ...funny...typical brothers...younger one was giving a long story...older brother says...."nothing he says makes any sense!"  Good laugh!

cookie, does your car have a little more zip now with new battery? Ha!  Too bad you got to pharmacy with no prescription ready...😠.  

Yesterday while on my walk, I noticed a home with newly planted mums.  One had the same problem as my small ones...dead flowers...strange.  I think..bad plants with some disease.  I will keep an eye on mine and other house.  I may stop at store and mention problem.  They'l probably say...sorry, no one else has mentioned that..Ha!

We are having nice weather here too, Tootie. 80's this weekend!  Guess we better enjoy while we can....next comes....🥶...⛄️.

Hi friends,....checking in with nothing to report...ha....but someone has to turn out the lights....😂.  I will leave one light in case kittyfan stops to put coffee on.

Beautiful weather day but quiet in my world.  Fixed a new recipe in my crock pot because they were on sale this week...Beef Short Ribs.  VERY Good!  I don't think I have ever fixed them....pork ribs but not beef.  We eat a lot of chicken and fish and avoid a lot of beef.  So, when we fix it or grill it...a treat!

Oh boy!  kittyfan, you and I are about to become older.😏  Looking forward to Halloween.  Hope Cousn Eddie doesn't decide to celebrate it with us.  Haven't seen the likes of him for a long time (thankful)  Litte Jake is quite the character isn't he!  How cute, wearing his blanket.  Molly re-arranges her bed and blanket all the time - usually end up on the floor.  Love these little love bugs!

walker, glad you enjoyed the beef short ribs.  We had them often when the kids were little- loved them.  My mother and Grandmother fixed them often.  I wonder how they would taste on the grill?  

Tootie enjoy your great weather and hopefully it will last a long time.  We are at 94 again today.  Here's hoping you and LG see some construction guys and their trucks soon.

cookie, love your October greeting ... and yes, you and kittyfan will each be older in a few days ...  but just remember, you're only as old as you feel 😁

kittyfan, ugh, the tech gremlins followed you and it sounds like they are making it difficult for you ... time to get the "bug" spray out ... I hope you can get your issues taken care of.

walker, I guess it's time to start using my crock pot now ... I usually use it in the Fall/Winter months ... don't know why just then because it's so easy to use any time 🤷‍♀️ ... I never have tried Beef Short Ribs but am glad they turned out good for you!

We have a heavy fog this morning ... I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere ... another warm day .. high of 77 ... I think we're going back to summer weather ... it's supposed to be in the high 70's/low 80's all week long ... and I'm not even going to complain about it being too warm because I know what's going to be coming ... ⛄

The Beef Short Ribs were Fall-Off-the-Bone Good!  😋 It was a Taste of Home recipe and pretty easy.

Yesterday I had quite the social walk running into neighbors.  One house I was glad to stop at and remark about her Halloween decorations.  Unbelievable!  She and DH have huge witches, skeletons, wolf, ghosts flying, lights ....BIG and almost as high as house...garage anyway.   She said she took a week off work to get it all out.  If awards were given out, they would get it.

I need to glance at paper, get breakfast and head to church....maybe in church today. 😇  Later I'll get my Halloween decorations out....nothing like the neighbor's house...just inside until I find a few flying ghosts or witches to hang on front porch.

This year is zlpping along.

I got up early this morning decoded not to go to breakfast. Did oatmeal here. I thought I would ziip over to laundry last Sunday was busy. Started first washer thought I hit start on 2nd. Alas when I went to transfer to dryer I hadn't started!!!

Dining room wasn't busy which was good as they were very short staffed. Seems to be a trend. I am sure pay isn't great and some folks are very demanding



Jake is in his bed. Holly is pacing. Pulled the blanket down I just picked up.

Ywsrwesay at lunch one of MG table mates said EMS had been here. Common occurrence wanted details. Another table mate said it wasn'tout urconcern. Ihave to agree.

Everyone has a right to privacy. I know way too much about some folks medical issues!!!

Quiet afternoon here. Still hot. Waiting on the crisp fall weather. Days are getting shorter.

Hi there......kittyfan, we all do such things on "automatic" that it is easy to overlook that final step....ON!  I am sure with situation there and many different people, you do meet and learn more than you want to know about people.  Just add them to another chapter in your book. 😁

Where is your younger brother now?  Just talk to neighbors who returned from London and said it was more crowded than they expected.  They thought summer travelers would be gone.

No news from Dullsville ....beautiful day though.  See you all tomorrow.  Rest well.

They arrived back thos morning. I attend their church on zoom. They looked echausted!! He hD texted Mr earlier to r one me of DDS apt. He made apt for me.

I had gotten an Amaxon delivery. One box of dog biscuits. And some floor v leaner. I kad bought large buiscitd by midyakr. EMS was here. Thete was s gat j eating in lobby. Pkgd are dropped off on can't. Sometimes they are delivered. Fiscission sbpiy EM s.

kittyfan, you sure are meeting some real characters at S.O.  Short staffed - makes things difficult for everyone. Hope it is not repeated often.  Staff deserves to be treated with respect!  I also agree with you - EMS is not everyone's concern.  People deserve privacy!   Sounds like Jake is getting settled in well and enjoying a canine UB.  Funny about the laundry - I have done that many times😂

Time to get out Halloween decorations - did you get yours out walker?   Love your descriptions - a few flying ghosts or witches on the front porch.  Gave me an idea for SCC.  We could all dress up and visit Tootie's PD and trick or treat.  They have probably missed us! 🤣
