Good morning friends ... cookie, that's great that your GD can come and look at your phone ... my finger is almost 100% better, the itching just won't go away! (although it's not half as bad as it was) ... we were out on the patio yesterday and there were a lot of ground bees around ... as long as they stay away from me, I'm good!!

walker, I did sit out on the patio inbetween my laundry loads ... I'm not sure why I even did it on Sunday (I guess I lost track of what day it was .. 😏 and not that it really matters what day I do it) anyways, it's all done for the week now ... hmmm?? 🤔 now what will I do?? 😂

We went for ice cream with DS/DIL and the kids last night ... it's a cute little place around the corner from a park with a lot of ponds and a waterfall ... it was so nice to walk around and you can feel the coolness and mist of the falls when you stopped to look at it ...

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️🌤️

Happy Monday!  Hot-TX-style week ahead here...🥵...anything outside has to be done in morning.  A/C back on yesterday but we were able to sit on deck late afternoon.  

Tootie, out for ice cream sounded delightful and especially fun with kids....no responsibility too with mom and dad there! 👍 Glad finger is getting better.  There was one bee both Sat/Sun buzzing around me while outside.  I think he/she knows I'm messing with their sweet drink in hummingbird feeder....haha.

I understand your frustrating tech issues, cookie!  I am same.....technically challenged.  Good luck!  I can remember my mother being frustrated with the TV remote...haha...she would have loved a computer but probably throw it out the window! 😂

Good morning ~

Finally took the car for window tinting.  They were very nice and DD and SIL were my Chauffeurs.  Had to leave the car there - it takes about 5 hours.  They also picked it up for me.  On the way up, I got to see places that I have never seen and hope I never have to again.  Texas is way to complicated for this pea brain. I am not an adventerous soul.  

walker, laughing at QM throwing a computer out the window😂  I know that feeling!  Thanks for the info about new Cheerios - Honey Nut Crunch.  I'll have to try it.  Hope it isn't too sweet, I don't care for sugary cereals, but Honey Nut was pretty good, so maybe this one will be really good! If it's good enough for a ♛, it's good enough for me😄.

Tootie, you are such a good G'ma.  Taking the littles to get ice cream and to the park with ponds and waterfalls.  Sounds like you all enjoyed it.  A definite place to go again!

Good morning friends ... cookie, glad to hear that your windows are tinted ... so now you can drive around and be "cool" 😂 ... and you get to see a lot more when you are chauffeured around ... did you ever get your phone issue taken care of??

walker, oh boy, now it's your turn for the heat ... our humidity dropped here ... we sat on the patio last night and there actually was a cool breeze ... we're at 56 degrees now! ... Fall is definitely in the air (at least here for now) ... I've been meaning to ask you, do you get a lot of hummingbirds at your feeder? ... I've never been a big cereal eater (even as a kid) but do like some the different varieties of Cheerios, I'll have to look for that one.

Happy Tuesday!  Toasty Tuesday here and for next few days....joining you TX gals in the sauna.  At least cooler weather is behind it by end of week.  

cookie, let us know if you can tell a difference in your car with tinted windows.  It should help to make it cooler.  I don't think those windows are as needed up here but I do see some people with them.  I can never see who is in the car so makes me a little uncomfortable.  For that reason, I don't think the police like them.

The new Cheerios are in an off-white-colored box.  It is kind of a mix of Cheerios with oat flakes ....not the multi-grain one.

Tootie, I only get a few regular hummingbirds....more bees than birds...😟.  I have a neighbor two doors down that put up two feeders and special bushes to attract them.

He says he gets a lot....arrrggghhh.  Only about one more month with them.  As soon as it gets cool, they start migrating south.  I enjoy the few I get...such tiny little things.  I might try something different next year.

Good morning ~

The car windows are finaly done and look great. It is a little darker than I had in CA and I really didn't want the front sides done. (can't do in CA - law for the police)  and the back window was splotchy from the last guy that detailed my car last year.  I finally got tired of not being able to see cleary out the back window and got the whole thing done again - they had to remove the stuff on the back window with solutions and could not use an blade due to the wires on the window. It was more than I expected but it's done and done! Phone not fixed but still works.  I just have to use it differenty until I call GD and she has some time I am going to stop babbling - I am a.k.a C. B 😮

 walker, you and Tootie are lucky you have Hummingbirds.  They are too smart to hang around here with all the dogs.  Maybe the heat and humidity?  I think I have only seen one since we moved here😟

Tootie, I haven't heard any more about the fires in Canada - are you still getting some residue?  I sure envy your cool temps!  There are fires everywhere from what I read and see on the news.  Lots of flooding too!  We will whether the Weather, whether we like it or not  - thank you QM♛

Good morning friends ... cookie, glad your car windows are all done and now (like walker said) it should keep you a little cooler? ... our state doesn't allow the side front windows and windshield to be to dark ... we haven't had an issue with the smoke from the fires lately, I guess it depends on which way the wind is blowing, but I do know that there are several fires that are still burning ... I don't put a hummingbird feeder out and have only seen a couple birds that come to our flowers ...

walker, those hummingbirds are so tiny and fast ... enjoy them before they pack up and leave for the winter!

Happy Wednesday!  Step outside and we have a sauna already!  94% humidity!  We will be near 100 today and tomorrow.....definitely sharing the TX (and south) misery.  I thought I could walk early but not sure now.

Tootie, good thing you are having cooler weather with LG and LS duty today. Get them out early...run, run... have fun with them.

cookie, glad the "window job" is done on your car and you are pleased.  Cool lady in Cool car!

It is SO WARM outside....I don't think you get the humidity in TX???  Plenty of heat though.  We have heat and humidity today and tomorrow.  I walked outside at 8AM and it was like an oven.  No walk today!!! 🥵
