Toote, last night I heard that Buffalo had 6 feet of snow!!  Is that very close to you and/or did you get some of it?  walker said the Turkeys are all frozen - well now we know why - they are all raised in the northern states😂.  LG and LS were happy to see mom and dad. Big smiles around there.

walker,nice you finally got a walk.  Laughing at your Michelin Man suit😄 (need a crown - ha ha) I would think it would be very hot to wear something like that and move at the same time😣  At least the slug is no longer.  

kittyfan, glad you got to sleep in yesterday - a well deserved treat.  We actually got rain yesterday and more today.  Nice and cool - 45.  Way too cold up North.

I will be prepping veggies for DD's Thanksgiving celebration at work and then getting ready to make the stuffing.  No word about sweet potatoes (YUM).  Maybe we will have mashed instead?  Oh well, I will be prepared.  Just wish we could have homemade tacos🤔

Good morning friends ... cookie, the town that got hit with 6 feet of snow is actually a suburb of Buffalo ... it's about a 1/2 hour away from me ... we got about (maybe) 2 feet of that mess!! ... oh yum, getting ready for Thanksgiving ... have fun!!

Happy Monday!  Happy it is with warmer temperatures here (just a little)....40's...no snow! 👍  Happy it is for Tootie with NO snow!  You have enough for the next few months (ha).  Instead of that song..Let it snow, let it snow......NY will sing...Let it STOP, Let it STOP! 😁

cookie, I'm with you loving the sweet potatoes!!  I did not grow up having those but learned to love later in life....nutritional too.  I am making the mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving because the kids will eat those and it is traditional!  But, I want that sweet potato casserole!  YUM!!

Tempted to make it but probably too much food...some other time.

kittyfan, glad you were able to get some extra sleep and have a restful day.  You deserve it!

I am heading out to store today.  I hope shelves are not bare from weekend.  I just need some extra items.  What they don't have I can, hopefully, get at my meat/fish store tomorrow.

Hi everyone....I did go to store #1 today....got there early and busy!!  Tomorrow I will hit store #2...meat and fish for a few things.  Good thing as I came home today from store and thought...I FORGOT....darn!  Put on tomorrow's list!  

Tootie, glad you got some sunshine!!!  Makes all that snow look pretty, eh? 😅  Good thing bad storm has passed so people can still enjoy Thanksgiving.

Good morninng ~

Another gloomy day - 43 and 20-% rain predicted.  Hope it skips Turkey Day.  Yes kittyfan, I am playing sous chef this week 🍜🍗 I am in charge of the stuffing. and clean up (by choice).  We are skipping the brown sugared yams because GD is bringing a special chocolate pie and that is enough sugar.  I wish we could  have 🌮🌮 with 🥑- maybe for lunch🤤

walker, hope you are able to get all stuff you forgot at the store yesterday.  Another day/week of not even remembering what day it is? One of the prerequisites for being old😄 

Tootie, hope your temps get warmer.  too much snow and freezing cold temps!  Are you going to let LG and LS pull the wish bone or is that on reserve for DH - ha ha.  My ex loved to do that so he "reserved" his rights to the wish bone.  

kittyfan, sorry to hear about your lady and her daughter's HA.  Hope she has a good doctor and gets better.  It seems, it's always during the Holidays that these things happen😔

DD/DS have always pulled the wishbone since they were little ... not sure when they will pass the baton to LG/LS ... oh yum! I would take a chocolate pie in place of yams too!! ... enjoy your UB's today.

walker, good luck with your shopping today ... I'm heading out in a little bit too ... DS called last night and said he couldn't find any pie crusts or garlic at his store ... I'll check the one we go to and hopefully they'll have some ... I hate going on a wild goose chase for things ... I want to go in one store, shop and go home!

Happy Tuesday!  I am in a fog...more than normal...overslept (for me).  I was awake at 4:30 and thought I need to sleep a little while longer.  I fell off the world as they say.  I was in a deep dreaming sleep and I heard DH up.  Think I moved too fast....I'm "out of sync" a bit...haha.

I better drink my coffee and get my brain turned on...🤣🤣.
