Good morning friends ... good news on your appointment cookie ... it always is a plus when the doctor takes the time to listen to you ... enjoy your day inside away from the humidity ...

kittyfan, ugh! I thought maybe you would be a good pattern of getting some sleep ... hopefully, you can take some UB's today.

walker, it sounds like that salesman didn't even want to be there ... annoying!! and it makes the visit seem like a waste of your time ... but I bet you still got a chance to look at different models of appliances?? it always helps to know what you DO NOT want ... I thought of you last night ... DD came over and we went to a new home decor store that just opened up ... of course they had all kinds of Halloween decorations out and they had a handful of Christmas things up ... rounded a corner and what did I see?? a whole shelf of Crowns!! they were Christmas Tree toppers!! very ornate with green and red jewels!! 🎄👑

Today we'll have a 72 degree day with a "slight" chance of rain ... we haven't seen the sun in a couple of days though so I'm hoping it shines today ... 😎

cookie, good news for you on your test results!  Sure is nice to have a doctor you are comfortable with there.  And, she listens to you too!  This is a "good" week for you....fun with GD, GS and doctor too!  😁

kittyfan, we need you to have a good sleep week!  So frustrating.  Maybe that sleep test will tell you something?

Maybe some cooler...less humid weather in TX would help too!!!

Appliance shopping can wait today.. need to do some grocery shopping.  I went to bed last night trying to think of new dinners to fix.  I feel like I am always doing same things...or quick to fix meals.  Maybe it is just after cooking a gazillion dinners I am just bored...ha!!  Dinner is not my thing....only fix to feed DH...ha!  I would rather have a brunch with mimosas!!🤣

Hi there......well, it will be a "quick" magical dinner tonight.  I never made it to the store so leftovers it will be!!! I realized I missed a call from my doctor at 9:30 last night  

in regards to my bone density test!!  I think late calls like that are unnecessary.  It isn't a life-threatening emergency!!!  So, I called back first thing this morning...took my name and info to be called back!  Well, 3:30pm and no call yet!  😖  I stayed home as I did not want to be in the grocery store to get a call.  Have wasted my day!!  I know she wants to talk to me about the "osteopenia" range I am in now.  I don't want Fosamax (reported side effects) and really don't want the Prola shot either.  🤷‍♀️ Whatcha gonna do?  I was taken off calcium a few years ago because "new findings" said that might be related to heart disease.  Argh!  Oh well....sitting and waiting...stay tuned!

Hello friends ... ugh!! walker, so maddening when you wait for the doctors office to call back ... sorry you didn't get your shopping done ... I'm glad you know what you don't want to take/do so maybe there will be another treatment (if needed) ... too many side effects on pills/shots that are supposed to help you ... get WandaWand and voila ... dinner is served!!

I had a productive day ... laundry and cleaning ... now I can UB tonight ...

Hi all.....7pm....no call yet....not happy!  OK, I don't know the life of a doctor but I hope she gets a potty break during the day!  Is her schedule so jammed packed she does not have ten minutes for a call?  I don't understand!!  Again, not life threatening but come on.....ALL DAY..NO CALL TIME?  😡

So, I wait....glad you were productive, Tootie.  You deserve your UB!  See you all in the morning.....REST WELL!!

Oh I am also waiting on a call back from drs office. Different issue but I need resolution yo my request I dislike the wait. Years ago I was on blood thinner that required weekly blood draws got a call on Saturday evening. We happened to be home eating dinner.

I am still not sleeping I d o have admitted script for drowsy allergy meds but will try to fall asleep first.

kittyfan, oh the call backs - there must be a written law  that you must make patient wait forever.  That seems to work also with the online portal the doc's have.

Have you tried the drowsy meds yet?  Anything to get some sleep!

walker, what a fiasco -missing a phone call from the doc and then staying home to wait for a call and wasting your day!  Hope you get a call without waiting too long and get this overwith. 

Tootie, the crowns you described sound like a good idea for a Queen's Christmas tree 🎄😄  Wonder where they got the idea? humm..... Maybe our Queen was seen on one of her Lucy/Desi adventtures and Voila -  A new ornament idea!

No news around here still hot and humid - a little cooler today - 92.  Lots of call backs to do since my phone jumped out of my purse and under the seat of my car.  By the time I realized it, I had already started looking under everything in my room - thinking Molly found it and was sliding it around and under the furniture.  DId not make my day!😣  Crazy how we depend on our phones. DD brought home a small bag of corn candies and  pumpkins -  now I want some - love corn candy.

Finally, we're going to see some sun today and no rain ... high of 76 😎 ... I plan on putting my Fall decorations out in the garden today ...

The race is on....who will get a call back first....me or kittyfan?  😡 No call last night!  Maybe I am first on the list for this morning....🙄.  I know I am not the only patient but come on!  I could book an appointment to go in and see which one comes first...ha!  

cookie, you make me laugh over the crowns.  Glad you found your phone too.  We do depend on those now...like carrying our security blanket with us!

Sunny day....good day to bring out the Fall decorations, Tootie.  I do have my Fall wreath up and now ready to get some mums.  My flowers out front are looking Summer Sad!

12:00.....no call yet...que sera...sera!  I have turned on TV for more information about the Queen....feeling sad...she is soooo much like my mother.   That last picture this week of Queen meeting new Prime Minister....my mom all over...skirt...blouse, sweater...glasses....sweet smile...oh my.  One of my mother's neighbors told me once ...your mother is the last of the great ladies!   Maybe second to last....the last will be The Queen!!
